I'm hoping it's possible that we didn't want to put our best stuff on tape. Hoping we took the first 2 games for granted and figured we could win with a very vanilla game plan. If this hope is wrong........ well then we are going to get ran over today. Time will tell.

If they did, that is terrible coaching.

Bills looked good against a crap Colts team. Then, looked like crap against an above average Patriots team in front of a home crowd. The Bills are over rated.

This is going to be a close game, but there is definitely hope. We should win.

I would love to believe that we are going to come out and show an all out shock and awe type offense that's purposely been hidden for this game. But there is no way we've been playing possum. Each week is just too important - you need every win you can get. Even Philbin isn't this stupid to gamble w the Devil like that.

I'm not that excited. The Bills typically own us and I don't trust Philbin at all. Hopefully we can come out and play a competent game of football

I have this terrible feeling that we are in for the following: "I told the guys about the importance of a fast start..." and "congratulations to buffalo - they deserved to win this game".

This thread made me laugh! The idea that we would limit our playbook for game 3 is ridonkulous. However, Rex Ryan already knows what to do, run right at Dallas Thomas and watch the house of cards come tumbling down!

We can win but we'll have to play a hell of a lot better. If, at game 3, we continue slow starts and lose playing non intense football, our year is done and so is Philbin.

Purposely playing vanilla to start the season? Oh, that's good stuff! ANY coach on the hot seat, and Joe's is steamy, would never hold back when your livelihood is dependant upon the number of wins and losses.

Every game is a must win - I don't see our team intentionally holding back "the real strategy" playbook. But Lazor and Coyle are slow to adjust, and maybe they find a way to win later.

Buffalo has Philbin's number because Philbin's biggest weakness is the line of scrimmage. His teams get dominated there on both sides. All of our problems stem from the trenches. They get bullied.
