home field?????

Fans get the team they deserve usually. A few thousand out of Towner's won't make up for the awful local support.

Is what it is, everyone has a good excuse but fact remains the city doesn't support the team.

Sorry mods but I have to say that:
To those who complain about the home crowd - go **** yourself. :smad:

The attendance was about 70-30/60-40 Dolfans. Those of us who were there made plenty of noise when we were on defense.

We are in south Florida and 90% of residents are transplants from up north. That's the downfall down here. So next time you bitch about people driving down here: they are from up north. Next time you complain that there are a lot of fans from the other team in the stadium they probably moved down here. I talked to about 20 Packers fans today and they all lived down here. Can't blame them to scoop the tickets up when their home team plays down here.

And you all can save that BS about "if I would live down there I would have season tickets". That is BS squared. I know a lot of Dolphins fans who said the same over the years and once they moved down here they never got season tickets: "too expensive" "no time" "I have family" "too hot" "gotta do BBQ in the backyard"
I have heard it all. Spare me your BS.

The stadium was near capacity. It was electric. Beautiful weather. And the Packers fans are awesome. Though I did not talked to anybody from Wisconsin I am sure there were a traveling bunch down here. So do what they do and travel down here to support your team rather than sit with your remote control in front of your TV and act like an internet toughy with crap like "if I would live down there".

My brother was at the game today, said he was like the only fins fan in his section and after the game winning td the stadium was so loud it was shaking.

Either you or your brother is lying or you don't even have a brother who went to the game. There was no section exclusively or even the majority occupied by Packers fans. They were well distributed throughout the stadium. If you actually have a brother who went to the game he may have sat in a cluster of Packers fans.

The stadium was not shaking after the TD. Of course you heard the Packers fans. They scored a friggin TD with 3 seconds left. And we were deflated and stunned. Are we supposed to sing the Dolphins song? :bobdole:

You know when the stadium was shaking? When we scored our final TD and on 4th and 9.

To the OP:
You are such a friggin troll.

But I feel better now.

...this team is mediocre... I live 5 minutes from the stadium and still cancelled my season tickets after multiple .500 seasons.. I rather pay for something that is worth it... like tuition, good food and gadgets... Stephen Ross and company has suckered most of fans for long enough with a crappy product. Guys like you make me laugh that you complain about the fans, when the players are making millions to win/lose half of their games and "we" are the problem.

We always hear how the Browns, Chiefs and other teams that don't do so well still have great fans and are able to pack their stadiums despite their success. That's because they have real fans.

You? You're a troll. A worthless POS generic bandwagon ****ing troll.

You just admitted that you cancelled your season tickets because you only show up when the team is winning. Yet you seem to have nothing else better to do than start pre-emptive worthless threads with nothing to offer and continually bash a team and players that you truly don't even support. You have no right to criticize the Dolphins. You're opinion is worthless for your lack of integrity as a fan. You are pathetic. Get lost.

After being a fan for 29 - 30 years, I have every right to criticize this team. Where are you located? Where are your season tickets? I have spent literally every sunday since elementary school watching Dolphin games. Who the &*%$ are you to question my integrity as a fan? Because I revoked Stephen Ross from digging in my pockets for this product that I can watch for relatively free at home? You are a troll and deserve whatever Stephen Ross gives you. You accept mediocrity and will only know just that. Good day sir!

Well yes but one guy said those things. I made a post last week telling people here, because I knew it would be brought up, to expect lots of Packers fans to be at the game. Why? Because Miami is 30 degrees warmer than dreary and chilly Green Bay. I would've circled this game on my calendar in April b/c I would've been thrilled to see the Packers play in a warm and awesome place (and to also expect a likely win. What better place to celebrate a win than in South Florida).

I have no idea what SinPhin's economic situation is but mine is such where it isn't possible to go to all 8 home games. Yet I understand the crowd situation fully. It doesn't make me a tool.

Not to mention plenty of tickets would be available...
