Home Stadium an embarrassment.....

Hold on here... lets make this right...

Of course it was......I especially like the part of "I was watching on TV."

I feel like punching somebody in the face......I have never been so angry about a freakin sport than I am now....
Infinsable, and Section 126, screw you. I am talking about most games on tv. Thats how it appears. And yes I am aware that a hurricane has turned life upsidedown in Fla. You can rip me for saying that while your head is up your *** thinking everything is all nice and happy in your little world. I was just stating the opinions of more than a few people that our fans have always been rather quiet. Yes once again I am aware there are not a lot of positive things to cheer about lately, however this is not a new problem in Miami. Compare our fans in the stadium to lets say, Raider fans, Philly fans, etc. Where they go nuts! We are like retired old seniors watching in the stadium. Thats all I am saying. Both of you idiots are taking out the bad play of the team on what I was saying because you are frustrated at the whole team and everything that surrounds it. I still love this team, I always will. oh and as far as the comment "I was watching it on tv, guess what. There are many many fins fans just as passsionate or more than you are. And we live all over the world. I would give my right nut to have the Dolphins in my backyard so I could go and yell my *** off at every game. But I cant so I never miss a game on tv. Screw you section.

I never thought I would say it but, I miss the quick starts and December collapses...at least we had 9-7 and 10-6 records in those days and we weren't the laughing stock of the NFL. :( :(
Sorry as the media, and NFL fans always takes the December Swoons into consideration, that is one point of being "a laughing stock issue".

At least that is and issue that's been kicked out the door so far this year...

2....There were alot of fans of the other team there too, but this game there looked like alot more since alot of seats were empty....

and why were the seats empty?....let's see....start with sporadic torrential downpours....20% or more of the fanbase simply couldn't come because of Hurricane damage or activity....the game was postponed, moved to three diffreent days depending on which rumor you wanted to believe, and then finally plopped down on Sunday night causing some confusion as to when the game was going to be played...I even had someone ask me in the grocery store at 2:00, when was the game going to be rescheduled....

All this and we still outnumbered the Steelers fans by at least 4 to 1.

and yet you agree with the original poster that we were an embarrassment.

Yeah....I can see where you were obviously talking about other games than just last night.....

There were more Pitsburgh fans there last night than Miami fans, or at least it looked and sounded that way on tv. Man everything about this team is an embarrassment this year.
.....Geez, how could we possibly get the wrong impression after you were so clear....
:shakeno:

And yes, I'm frustrated by the team and everything that surrounds it but, I'm not going to let you tell me that I and everone else at that stadium was an embarrassment last night because you can take that noise and stick it straight up your....

You get your a$$ down there and cheer your a$$ off and then have some fan from Guam or someplace tell you that you were and embarassemnt and see if you don't come out swinging Mr. Better Fan Than Anybody.

Infinsable..if that is your real name..

Listen, I obviously upset you here with my post. So let me try to clear this up. I am very aware about the horribe situatuion with all the hurricanes ripping apart you great state. I feel for all of you and just know that our prayers are with you all in this crisis. I know too that this was a big factor in the attendance last night. Now. I was merley stating that fan support has frequently lacked over the years,( in the crazy, loud, frenzy type support kinda way). Or at least it appears that way on tv in the lower bowls where the cameras pick up. Yes you are correct I have never been to Pro Plyer, I live in Canada so I cant go to the games. I plan on going next year when i can save up some trip money. It is a dream of mine to see my beloved team. So I apologize if my statement was out of line. I do love this team and remember we are all on the same side. Can we be friends?

Fins i know this is the wrong forum but i walked around section 6 for 2 hours looking for you guys in the parking lot, next time lets exchange #'s or meett up before hand

No, he's right, our fans suck.

The problem is that this year the team is worse than the fans.

Just a realistic view, here, folks.

ok .....InFinsable

I see now in my original post you took offence to my statement where you thought I was attacking basically you and the ones who do care. I apologize to all those hard core fans that stuck it out there in that weather. You are true fans. Its not you I blame for the lack of intensity. The people who are to blame would not be here typing this stuff on this site. They are the people who just want to see a game. Have no real knowledge of the team or the game. The die hards are obviously the ones I hear making noise. I would love to see the stadium filled with the real fans. The ones who bleed teal, and who get upset at things like this. Because they have passion. They care. I will try to be more clear in the future.

I read on the internet that about 30,000 of the 72,000+ fans originally expected to go to the game showed up.

We were three spaces down from the caution tape....4 rows from the busses.
Sorry, you couldn't find us but, at the time, I gave out all the info I had to give....description of my vehicle, general area, and since you and I have met, you might have recognized me....sorry, I didn't get my number out to you in time...

You didn't miss much....nobody else showed up either.... Me, BALLSDEEP, and Scotgif had lots of Beer and food though.

Maybe next time. :D
