I know there are 40 tannehill threads.I have known he was garbage since day 1, however here is my question.
We all know that he will NEVER live up to his draft position, however, what exactly is he great or even good at?
  • Arm Strength-well below avg
  • 0-15 yds accuracy-avg at best
  • 15+ yds accuracy-historically bad
  • athleticism- well below avg, 2014 Drew Bledsoe
  • Reading defense/audibles-locks in on one WR every snap.
  • leadership qualities-He is basically non existent
Someone please tell me what he currently excels at or even what area he shows promise. There is literally not one area where he is above avg. Not trolling just venting as a lifelong Dolphin fan that doesn't wanna see another year wasted on a QB that will be out of the league in 2 years.

Oops...my bad the haters are still fighting the good the fight.....

When Sunday comes and the game starts sit in your chair pulling for Tannehill to fail to ease your pain.

What kept me intrigued was the simple fact that a lot of his receivers have had good seasons with him. The QB making the players around him better is a good sign. I disagree on the arm strength, I think he has one of the strongest arm in the league and if memory serves that throw at the end of the Panthers game traveled around 60-70 yards in the air, into the wind. In fact, I believe Sturgis had a field goal try in the same direction that didn't even travel as far...

All hail to the almighty soothsayer. What QB do you want to take the helm? And I have to ask, What thought process allowed you to form your opinion of Tannehill From day 1?

There's at least two of those that we fundamentally disagree on.

Arm strength: Above average

Athleticism: Way above average for a QB

Watched his "highlights" from A&M. The fact that he played 18 games as a QB in college, switched back to QB for out of team necessity. when i heard people throwing out the word "Athleticism" i chuckled. This guy is about as athletic as my Pug

Huh? Way above avg athlete? How is this even possible to think. Do you watch this guy when he tried to take off?

Intentional troll is intentional

Above average athleticism does nothing for a QB like Tannehill. So all he has is above average arm strength......

aka. Not a good QB

some of you guys are in denial its incredible . The guy will never be an avg qb in this league. Its tough for us to admit that we wasted 3 years and a top 10 pick on this guy. quicker we move on, quicker we find a QB.

Hmm, you mean the guy who played WR at Texas A&M and was pretty damn good until moving to QB?

Yeah, not athletic at all.
