Honestly- about Ryan

I couldn't stand his father and I can't stand him. I don't care if he would bring a SB trophy to Miami, he is not the type of coach I want coaching my team. I became a Dolphin fan because of Shula and the classy way he ran the team, no BS just tough sound football. I personally think Ryan's coaching style runs thin pretty quickly. So far Rex has been lucky and everyone is buying into his rah rah antics but when the going gets tougher I think you'll see a lot of discontent within the Jets organization.
I agree with you. Two years ago teams stopped playing against the Jets and they got into the playoffs, last year they had more talent then any team in the league and if they had not Holmes hand them 4 victories they would not even make playoffs. This year I believe we will see the real Rex and it will not be pretty.

Say you were in the military & your life was on the line ... the big battle is coming & your side is attacking ... you get to choose both commanders between Sparano & Rex.

Do you want to attack with Rex, with Sparano defending?

Do you want to attack with Sparano, with Rex defending? ... I didn't think so!! :err::shakeno:

so lets be clear here, you think a guy who gets you to the championship game two years in a row while not super bowl = great coach.

just want it on the record, should you dare.

i dont get the analogy when it comes to football and the military. two completely different things.

first off, i was in the military. they train you to be inviduals who work on a team so that everyone is on the same page and we cover each others back. In that regard, i would say yes to Rex.
Rex is in NY for a reason. Because NYers like guys who are beligerant, albeit he has toned down lately. His coaching still has not proved results in the end. All he needs is a QB who can take him there. Same as us some say.

How interesting would it be if we got Rob Ryan as our coach next year..

The Ryan brothers in the same division? Man, ESPN wouldn't know what to do with themselves. Anyways, Rex can be irritating at times, but at least he's not afraid to make his intentions known, versus always talking in cliches like Tony. The foot fetish thing creeps me out, but his players really seem to love him, and want to go all out for the guy.

TBH, i was just watching last years hard knocks, and Rex had a pretty dam nice speech in the preseason, demanding everything from them, i hope Sparano is a demanding coach, thats what we need

To have some big mouth clown with no class coaching the same organization as Don Shula would be a disgrace.
