Honestly, do you guys feel there is a good chance of us going 8-8?!

Honestly, do you guys feel there is a good chance of us going 8-8?! Please read!

Hear me out.. Second to the Dolphins, I am a huge Howard Stern fan. So since these boards have been so slow, I have been over posting on sfn (stern fan network) to pass the time. Out of nowhere, some guy asks for advice on how to get Dolphins tickets. He is instantly teased, which people joke around a lot on that site, but one guy said something particularly stupid. He laughed that Dolphin tickets are hard to get, and said we are going to suck !@@@ this year. After I saw this, I let him have it. Since then we have been going back and forth. This guy wants to bet me that Miami won't break .500 this year, which I feel is a lock. Does anyone think I would be stupid to take the bet?? Let me know what you guys think.

I'd say Dolphins hitting .500 or better is a lock. Injuries can always change that but I'd take the bet.

Any given Sunday...anything is possible, I think the team should win at least 8 games..but anything's possible..
 
Maybe and that is OK if we are improving from last year as a team and play hard all year. Sure I would like to win more but as long as we do not have a bunch of bone head things happening on the field I am a happy fan. One of the things I saw for the first time in quite a few years last year was see the Dolphins make changes the very next game in any unit that played poorly the game before. I used to get so upset when week after week we made the same mistakes. My hat is off to Sporano in that dept. He is a fluid coach not afraid to make changes and try something different to improve.
 
Personally I think 8-8 is reasonable. But i'm one of the few here that believe that. I see 8-8 or 9-7 a very real possibility. I see us taking a minor step back in year 2 of BP grand plan. With youngsters in the secondary and as of right now no real depth on the OLINE or NT, we will need a great year again from those units...or NT anyway.
Grove, Smiley and Thomas all have a history of injury. They will need to be solid and healthy for all 16 games imo for MIA to finish above .500.

i wont trip over that we always split with the Jets, I dont think theres anyway we start off 0-3 though. Atlanta is a win their defense is weak and we can stuff Turner. We always take one from NE so there you go I say 10 wins
 
i say we go 10-6, i picked them to go 10-6 last year and i am sticking with that this year

There are a few that I think could go either way. I think Atlanta's offense is gonna be sick this year and it's their home opener. Sure they could win that game, it's just my prediction.

Unfortunately I think NE is going to be disgusting again this year. Adding Galloway and Taylor to there offense along with Brady being back is scary as hell. I have them sweeping the division. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Tony G is a man by himself who has a history of giving MIA fits. Last year he was somewhat slowed down...for him, and the sub zero weather IMO had some affect on him.
I won't say right now if MIA wins or loses that game. Preseason and the injuries or hopefully the lack of injury report will set the tone and manner of MIA heading into week 1.
 
Barring injuries I think this team wins a minimum of 9 games.
 
I would take the over. 9 wins, I think is a better than good chance. We may not beat the Pats for the crown, but, I do think we'll go at LEAST 8-8.
