i heard there is a chance he plays soon i just want to know what everyone thinks....however i want to see what he can do COMPLETELY HEATHLY whether its this year or next:dolphins: :dolphins:

I forget who it was but before the game today somebody on ESPN was predicting Culepper as the best starting QB who is not the starter this year or something like that. I just wish we could have the old Culepper, he was amazing.

Preseason 2007

i am leaning towards that to and hopefully he will play in every game to see what we really have to work with for the year

I say play him, if there is no risk of further injury. We know what we have in Joey Harrington already. We need to get Daunte some more real game experience that he can build on. Seriously guys, from what we've seen Culpepper, retunring to form or close to it, is our only shot of having a star QB on our current roster. Let him knock the rust off, rehab all offseason and be ready to compete for the starting job in TC. I also do not think the job should be handed to him either.

It was NFL Countdown. The question was which QB who's not a starter this season will be a starter next season. Both Michael "crack pipe" Irvin and Tom Jackson chose Daunte.

I still think Culpepper will be back, if only during garbage time in the Colts game. It's not like he's an unknown quantity, though. It's probably better to give Cleo the playing time.

how about we stick with harrington for the rest of the season because he easily gives us the best chance to win. and do you not realize daunte just had additional surgery earlier this week and id be surprised if he can even jog right now.
Dont blame this loss on joey. this game was about alot more than just his play. o-line played sloppily, receivers put forth little effort and again showed off how good they are at dropping important passes. the secondary was outworked. and overall the defense barely contained david garrard (besides the 2 sacks).
You cant blame everything on harrington and wish for a healthy culpepper. culpepper flat out sucked this season and showed no sign of anything to look forward to ESPECIALLY IN HIS DECISION MAKING, which last time i checked has nothing to do with your knee.

Pep reminds me of David Boston, Man we were dying to see him perform and he never did.....

No way does Daunte play again this year. I'm all for Daunte getting a shot next year when he'll be fully healthy (hopefully!!!!), but we need a plan in place if Daunte can't ever play at a successful level again.

Well there is no use in trying to get Dante injured more. Put him on IR the rest of the year and go for next year. And hopefully he can be the QB we all hope he can be.

Otherwise if he looks like the thing we saw this year bench him.

The only time I can say we played good offense this year was against DETROIT! We had a so-so game the time Ronnie ran for 150 yards. JH has ZERO pocket presence, gets shook real easily and then at the first sign of pressure he's dishing it off.
