Today the NFL said miami dolphins...wait your turn...

I have waited my entire life for this...if you don't get what I'm saying you likely never will.. If you do congrats you see the game at another level

this will be my only post in this thread...the national football league has taken notice...we are no longer laughing stocks...
 
You think this team is different because it's going toe to toe with the elite. But in today's NFL where the Rams just beat that same elite team, I don't think what you think it means matters much. Like always it's win and losses. 4-1 or no playoffs and that waiting goes on for another 9 months. Hell miss the playoffs and what you think you're finally seeing gets blown up all over again. But I hope your right. I really do.

We are getting better in most areas but we still are missing some key players...or rather we need some upgrades, particularly at our D-back positions....I think we also need more talent at the LB spot. Our defense is good but guys like Wilson need to go. I would also focus on both sides of the line. We have had some injuries to Albert and James. We are a borderline playoff team but we are in a log jam with many others.
 
On the cusp of being good? What else is new? We've lost (heartbreakingly) to the 3 toughest teams we've played, besides NE week 1. We have proven we can't finish against Playoff teams.

If I responded and explained it I'd be going against my word but needless to say you guys can't see it...and I will leave it at that...
 
I tend to agree that we are not laughstocks anymore. Coming off of the bullying scandal, we should be happy about that. But let's not forget that with all of the problems last year, the team was 8-6 with their playoff destiny in their own hands. If we can reach a similar point this season, maybe 9-5 instead of 8-6, then things will be looking up. If we finish .500 again, then only the problems will be magnified.

But I hear what you are saying. You don't win in the NFL these days without a QB. We have a QB. Everything else will flow from that. Does that QB have a few deficiencies? Yes, clearly. But he has proven to me that he is now a solution, and not a problem. We haven't been able to say that in a long, long time.

Oh Jesus Christ, dude. I get what you're trying to say but it gets tiring after years, and years, and years of the same old ****. I hope this team goes on a run and makes the playoffs more than anybody, but the defense today was absolutely atrocious, and we yet again couldn't finish a close game against a good team.

last time I looked, a laughing stock team beat the broncos last week...

this team hasnt known how to finish big games in years...like since 84...
 
Your boy Tannehill is definitely growing up before our eyes Hoops. He's gonna be a good one for us for many moons. Some people will kick and scream otherwise, but he's going to take us places very soon.

Question: Will the rest of the league take notice when the team is sitting at home, eating a ham sandwich, and watching the playoffs? Or maybe you meant they will take notice in the fact that our D is just not that good?
