i'm sure this place is blowing up right about now so i'll just put this out and get out of here...i'll start by saying that loss doesnt bother me...it really doesnt...if the jets want to roll with geno for another season off that game today more power to them please do...and if they are smart and not gonna it just got harder for them to get up there where they need to be for a one of those top 2 qbs to begin with...winston the pocket and progression qb with the legitimate shelf life and mariota the system one...
ok i think it says it all about your defense when a scrub qb like geno smith torches you to a 140 plus qb rating...i mean i hope people can figure this one out for themselves...embarrassing...from the trick plays to the taking the ball out of the qbs hands in the red zone which the jets always do miami has to play better vs that offense...
last game they beat us with downhill power to start sprinkled in some misdirection later for big plays today they spread us out and worked misdirection and our guys were lost...plain and simply lost...assignment wise guys blowing them all over the place free lancing de's and lbs just taking the bait...
coyle puts dion jordan all 275 plus of him at lb to start the game sure you can see the natural ability the problem is you killed the athlete and the burst player and so he's sluggish and late or not cod enough and frankly he was lost a lot playing off the los cause i'm sure this team just rolled it out in the last 2 damn weeks...are you kidding me...i know wheeler blows but you guys ask the kid to gain weight it fails at de which should have been obvious before the damn suspension even and NOW this kids playing lb all 275 plus of him??? wow...well at least the light bulb has come on that he needs to lose weight and play lb next season...if he comes to camp again at 275 plus i know how this story will end

brutal play from cortland finnegan...i mean brutal...early in the game we had them backed up in their end they hit a quick stop route for 6 yards but smith was late for some reason letting it go i'm yelling at the tv "drive on that" finnegan puts his foot in the ground and comes forward like he's 40 years old...ugh...i dont know if the ankle is playing into this but what i do know is miami better think long and hard before they agree to that $5.5 mil next season...father time waits for no one...press man gets physical and off balance beaten deep not an ounce of recovery speed to be found
jimmy wilson playing safety like it's patty cake all that guy does is talk...he's a weakness these days...slot corners arent hard to find in the draft you can get an undersized physical guy with sure tackling skills outside of the first 2 days...they were so underwhelmed with wilsons play at safety they put in a guy athletically you can find at your local mall in kovacs
olivier vernon a ghost as a pass rusher...owned all game long...one on ones all over the place and nothing...the hell if you think i'm trading cam wake so this d can never ever get off the field on 3rd down...the hell with it
player of the game is lamar miller...made chicken salad out of chicken **** a lot in this one...the 97 yard td run was nice but its all set up by the late shift to the other side by the back and we outflanked them making the wide rusher pace have to make a decision crash down on the back or take the qb and he picked the qb...the lbs were caught inside and the deep safety stayed on the opposite side hash and that late shift gave us the lane we needed...once they didnt shift with the back it was pay dirt unless the safety makes the play...miller also i mean finished forward and gained the yards that were there and showed nice vision...well done lamar
ryan tannehill got horrible protection again but look guys that drive at the end of the first half for 6 from the qb was another statement from that kid...i mean he stood in converted a 3rd and 15 to hartline despite a major head and shoulder high hit and then dropped a dime to clay on a zone coverage pivot route in space where the qb and wr were on the same page...i know that kids the franchise qb this teams been looking for...zero doubts...just confirming everything i have thought about the kid...i'm just glad he survived another 16 game season with that wretched protection since albert went down...4th and 5 we go for it he goes thru progressions pressure comes has nothing tries to hit landry behind the los one on one in a make a guy miss and convert it doesnt work...3rd and 1 first half goes thru progressions tries to hit sims one on one down the field db makes a nice play to get a hand in there...
darryn colledge i mean good by boss...awful...destroyed on repeat...samson satele thanks for your efforts and good bye...too damn soft...this teams soft front starts with the center...unless i got an injury and i get a weeks worth of 2 hopper snaps in camp you're phone is not ringing...jason fox brutal at right tackle...i mean ugly...another guy they better think long and hard about offering another one year contract to return...that was dallas thomas bad...
jawaun james got hurt came back late and struggled point blank...doesnt change my thoughts about him at all...pouncey struggled early but i thought he bounced back well and probably graded out the best of the lineman although thats not saying much...horrible in pass pro oline
i have no idea how this staff lets a dallas thomas continue to play when he's tragic or lets a colledge look like he did today while shelley smith marinates on the sideline...philbins got to wake up with these personnel decisions...they are beyond strange to keep riding with guys that are killing you...
presnap penalties killing the offense once again that just can't afford to get behind the sticks...especially when the speed element isnt even on the field to threaten vertical...
billy turner got run at right tackle saw the physicality i wanted to see looked raw as expected got help his first snap with dion sims kept in but got valuable game experience going forward...happy for the kid...i make no bones i expect that kid to play a major role next season
bill lazor takes the ball out of the qbs hand too much in short yardage...some odd play calls again today...tendencies just seem to be on repeat with some of the calls...
mike wallace out the second half hurt...no doubt about it...dont know if he pulled a hammy or not but the d squeezed the field once he went down...got to have a true speed element out there which minus wallace this team doesnt have...
brian hartline actually caught a ball over his head...unreal...shocking really...
deserved to lose today...outplayed...outcoached...point blank...personnel deficiencies bite us in the ass yet again...how can miami not be ready for that fake punt pass with 4 minutes left vs a 3-12 coming in team...
oh well this team was beat up bad at the end of this one would have been on fumes had we made the postseason anyways...i'm a realist...we couldnt overcome deficiencies once they set in...at least the decisions this offseason should be rather easy ones
