I tell ya what sucks...knowing that had my starting qb been fully healthy id have been in that game...that really sucks

sorry but matt moore carries the worst grade in this game...from the horrid first drive of the game pre set coverage id on 3rd and 5 he threw directly into coverage and got away with somehow backed up at our own 20 to the treating of the football like a greasy pig...yeesh

end of the half two back back brutal plays by the qb...starts with the underthrown ball to dvp on the post corner post that if thrown correctly he walks in on...that balls way underthrown...very next play albert blows a delayed no show olb rush by harrison ok no problem if moore never sees it and gets sacked thats not on the qb...well moore is looking to that side post snap sees it and tries to break out to his right late and worse he has the ball in his hand like a loaf of bread...sack forced fumble and we go from a play prior should have been a 7 point game with the opening half possession to the qb taking points off the board

opening 2nd half possession he again gets happy feet not going thru progressions leaves the pocket (what the hell ever happened to a back foot hits ball out) and again treats the ball like a greasy pig fumble turnover

next possession eye bangs the hell out of a crosser the lb just drops right under his eyes shazier for a easy pick...the very next possession its 4th down he stares at a obvious zone outside leverage route by landry running directly into coverage which is a terrible coverage read and then takes off horizontally in a failed attept to run for the first down...turnover on downs...

his coverage ids if they werent motion based were wrong just about all day today...4 straight possessions four straight **** burgers by the qb...about the best thing be did today was get up after that bush league hit he took

no way i can win in the postseason playing qb like that...no damn way...adam gase did everything he could to limit the qb exposure and it didnt matter

now to the other goat who frankly should walk home...baccari rambo...absolutely awful...i want nothing to do with bringing that back next year...hes the worst player on the team since dallas thomas got his walking papers...good bye bacarri...terrible angles terrible assignment play terrible coverage...just terrible

sucks that this team was done in by attrition but that more than anything else ceiled our fate...from qb to lb to safety play

we got jenkins back today and he looked about the best he has all year in the nickel but the base lb play was once again poor and when you combine that with poor assignment play and tackling at depth safety your goose is cooked

tony lippett on the first td loses outside contain allowing antonio brown to go 55...cannot jump inside there have to maintain the boundary

adam gase again called an excellent game...was let down by execution and ball security...vance joseph let down by personnel deficiencies more than anything else

Excellent fake punt call direct snap to michael thomas conversion who outside of specials has no real value in the defense

x howard with text book vertical coverage on tbe pi call...thats a terrible call...he can ride that arm in the vertical stem like he did provided he doesnt hook it when the ball is arriving...he let it go he then chopped thru with his other arm as the ball was arriving...thats text book

jay ajayi running into brick walls all day...would have helped if moore had the freedom to check out of bad plays at the los...but thats a trust issue and maybe a lack of reps one and you dont build trust playing like moore did today

they say depth plays like depth they sure as hell got that right today

it was a fun season and it could have been a even more fun one had we been able to stay healthy at lb safety and qb

next scoops my individual player and coaching year end analysis...heres to a strong offseason and a healthy ryan tannehill, mike pouncey, isa abdul quddus, reshad jones in 2017 :brewskis:

Said the same thing in the first fumble. Moore is looking right at the blitzer. How does he not just throw it behind the end zone. It was first down

With 2 timeouts. That was the worst play of the season. Can't think of a reason why that play went the way it did. Even if he takes the sack and protects the ball we can still score. That play changed the entire game. Instead of going into the half down 20-13 or 20-9 with momentum and the ball. We instead lose the game on that play.

Michael thomas is the worst safety in football. Rambo came in with no anything and was decent. He is not even close to the scapegoat. He was real bad, but that was the first time since he became a dolphin that he was an obvious liability. Thomas might rival cameron worrell for the worst safety in nfl history. He's lived off a Tom Brady pick his entire career and it's unfortunate the team can't see the forest through the trees.

Gase called a **** game. Played right into their hands like he lost a bet. Come on now.

:idk: Moore struggled but aside from the Cowboys who could ask for more from a backup?

a team lacking talent got run over by a talented team today.

Looking forward to next year. Hopefully we will hear that Gase tied up our FO and left them a closet while he went to do some free agent shopping.

Can;t wait to see Tannehill and Jones back on the field. First playoff game in years and we only had 2 of our best 5 players.

Expected the Moore blasting . . . can't turn the ball over like that, absolutely agree. Thought he made some good throws all things considered but it should fall on deaf ears when you turn the ball over no matter what protections are blown. Blast away

Also agree on Rambo, he IMO was the worst player in that game. Absolutely dreadful. Don't want him back at all.

Look forward to the year end stuff. Playoffs taste good though, but I hate being teased. Need more next year.

Moore played like Moore today - he played like a back-up.

Missed out on 21 points from his turnovers....however, our blocking scheme didn't help him much all. People were coming off the edges untouched.

Also, so obvious the Steelers studied the Pats gameplan....short passes and run the ball. They ran the Edelman WR screen play and Brown took it to the house.

We have no athletes in the secondary right now besides Howard....all of our studs were in street clothes. Yes, Rambo blows.

Thanks Hoops for the good stuff during the year.

Well given that Rambo was out of football before we called...

Have to say, I don't feel like Gase called a great game today. Although it clearly wasn't the deciding factor in the game. Hated the empty backfield call before halftime. Plenty of time on the clock with two timeouts. Overall, we needed to attack the Steelers weak secondary, and we didn't do it enough.

Unfortunate way to end a surprising season, but not unexpected considering the injury issues.

Still feel good about Gase and the potential to make some improvements this offseason.

Gase in his press conference seemed to question his playcalling more in this game than in others. He certainly is a straight shooter, always thinking and analyzing the situation.

If we just replace some of these players that don't even deserve to be back ups in the NFL that are starting for us with just decent players, and get everyone back we have lost to injury, I believe we will take the next step the upcoming season. Our defense was our Achilles heal obviously and I seriously believe they can improve leaps and bounds in just one year. Tannehill with another year in Gase's offense will be evident and I think we may see us scoring 30 points a game much more frequently next year.

I think we are sitting on a potentially juggernaut of a team if Gase is allowed to make the Free agent decisions and truly get rid of all the Philbin soft players that are still evident from the last regime. Once we purge all of that, this off-season, that will be the greatest thing of all. We need to build on this tough as nails identity and get some players that can knock the CRAP out of players, not needing 5 players to take someone down. That's bullcrap and needs to be purged yesterday once we find adequate replacements!!

Moore definitely played like a back up today. I wish Tannehill had the chance so we can see our franchise in the playoffs gotta wait a year now

THats why I love him. Never throws any player under the bus. Always says he needs to be better at calling plays.

He's only going to improve too.
