Hoops scoops...fins vikings

There was a time when mods would eliminate these opinion based threads. If there were not original questions, analysis, etc. and could be appropriate in another thread...they were removed. QUICKLY.

But that time has long passed

I give up already. Nublar, among others "liked" the POS original post in this thread. If a guy like Nublar (who is the polar opposite of the OP) likes that **** then its a lost cause. its like what many others have said...this forum has become too cliquey

you reported my original post??? i think that says it all

While we're on the subject, did you know that Shouright is a weight loss surgery counselor?

I just about died laughing when I found out. He definitely strikes me as the kind of guy with so little self-respect that he could try to talk people with low self-esteem into stomach-stapling, liposuction, and other dangerous procedures.

I was merely referencing his "thumbs up" on your OP, but yes I reported you when you taunted at the idea of an admin addressing your history of thread abuse.

For the record,

I come on here to get insights into my favorite sports team. I don't come on here as a social outlet. So I don't give a **** what you say about it.

Some of you (mainly just you because I don't like you) should question how its humanly possible to have 36,000 posts in only a few years. WTF?? I mean I get hell for how much I care about Dolphins football...but do you have a life outside of it? Smh...just some food for thought as I leave this thread for good.

nah i said when you are an admin...since you aren't i think it's high time i told you over this to go **** yourself

i've put out more football content and analysis and draft eval and hell good stuff period than that guys got posts...if he doesnt like that this one said it all in 2 points then tough ****...

but i think what this is about is like a few weeks ago he put out some thread if i recall and i came in and just put in a one liner or something and didnt really explain it further and not really a sarcastic one and he has been after me ever since...an axe to grind i guess...

well get in line buddy
I'd argue (not that it really matters anyways) that if you want to pride yourself on consistency then your original post is lacking. They seem to have been lacking for a for a few weeks now. You have a clear opportunity to rebuttal this criticism with analysis of Dallas Thomas/Jason Fox tackle play or defensive scheme and problems; yet you deliver a veritable "Tannehill is the best...he's number one...the absolute best...no one compares...defense sucks".

All-in-all, I think there is a large opportunity for opinions and analysis that reach beyond the flotsam and jetsam that ESPN, CBS, FOX, NBC, and on some degree NFLN bore us with. Things like (fictitious statement, this is not validated in any way) "Looking at the all-22, 65% of time Tannehill goes for intermediary routes on press coverage. On this play action, he sees the safety pull into the box pre-snap ..." That's what I think people want to see, want to hear, want to read, and want to learn. You can't call yourself a teacher and defend original posts like the one in this thread.

Nevertheless, nothing is free and I'm not paying you for content. As a result
I lurk and take your analysis, if there is one, as an opinion and then move on in the chaos I call life.

*Note my punctuation and logical semblances of paragraphs.

so i have to break down every individual thing FOR YOU instead of you actually doing some of it for yourself...sure i could break down dallas thomas vs jason fox...start taking up an offering plate and i will...in the preseason way ahead of the curve even i break everything down on this roster pretty much...that would be your best bet if you want to learn i guess...

damn...the nerve of some of these people...as for the punctuation i'm a football guy my delivery is my delivery if you don't like it fine don't read it...that simple

Well put. Far better than I could do. Thank you.

I leave now happy to know that there are others who are recognizing a pattern as well.

Alright, something more football related I'd love to hear your thoughts on.. Specifically, Dion Sims and Damien Williams. Sims is looking more and more like a key piece to this offense, and on his td catch he looked really smooth in the route.. How much better do you think he can get for us? And Williams looks the part of a third down back.. Real natural hands, but I'm not sure I'm a fan of him running between the tackles.. He can push it outside effectively, but do you think he can improve in his between-the-tackles stuff?

You guys must not come around often.

Hoops puts a lot of material in his threads most of the time. More than everybody here does on a week basis IMO.

Also if you have nothing to say about the topic please don't. Thanks.

He made excellent points. He did a far better job than I, and he was respectful about it as well. You treated him no different than I. That says enough about you...cannot handle criticism at all.

I haven't gone over all the insults and teeth gnashing in this thread, I will say that there are some valid criticisms from more than one direction. However if you've read more than one of hooshoops threads/posts you get an idea for how he has his own personal style and how he voices his opinions. I also think that when confronted, a poster has a choice, lead, follow, or get out of the way, but too often I've seen people wilt rather than continue on in their own style and opinions. personally, it's acompliement if people like or hate your work enough to confront you about it.

I missed the game my family is here. I'm Glad tannehill threw for 4 TDs. That defense sounds like it is horrid
