Hoops scoops...hozed

i still can't believe tannehill forced that ball to wallace into double coverage...did a good job all game taking what was given to him and then he makes that major mistake...just too aggressive...safety never was manipulated...

that one hurt

in my humble opinion, he tries to force it to Wallace maybe because Wallace complained about not being involved weeks ago

i think he just tried to make a play and made a bad decision...kinda decision he can't make given that coverage

Mike Wallace is a bum. Body catcher with no ability to separate on routes.

I really hope they start focusing on Rishard Matthews.

To me it looked like the ball was underthrown a bit as well. IMO, Tannehill still isn't throwing the ball far enough for Wallace to run underneath it on those deep routes. If that ball is thrown farther down the sideline the S isn't even in on the play and Wallace walks into the end zone as he definitely had the CB beat. If Tannehill is gonna throw those deep balls to Wallace he needs to really start doing a better job trusting that Wallace is gonna turn on the after burners and get to them. That is one of the main reasons we signed him and as of now Tannehill is definitely not utilizing Wallace's greatest attribute.

Thanks for taking the time to try to post some reasonable thoughts on this awful game.

I don't know how you can watch this and still try to be analytical. I'm so disgusted I'm about ready to hand in my card.

I was so impressed by Ryan Tannehill just two games ago in a loss to the Ravens... I thought "man, even though we lost the game, this guy gets it. He's going to be the guy."

And then today... I don't know.

My patience is wearing thin Tannehill. He makes certain throws, has some great reads and you could right off some bad things due to the offensive line. But when he has time here lately, he is either messing up on his pre snap read or force feeding his WR (Wallace). Neither of which is good.

I didn't want RT at 8. I have been a very supportive fan in understanding, that once he was taken, he had to START ASAP and show growth. The mistakes I'm seeing in week ****ing 7 in year 2 are starting to wear thin with me. Growth and development are a must in year 2 with such a young QB. These constant head scratchers at crucial times really have me pissed off and moody.

RT needs a huge bounce back game against CINCI and needs to NOT TURNOVER THE ****ING BALL.

I agree a string of zero turnover games is what I would like to see from tannehill

i'm just so damn dissappointed...start 3-0 drop the next 4...how the heck you lose to the bills at home...coulda woulda shoulda season...i just got to remember that at the end of the year if we can end up with a winning record thats what i expected anyways...it's next year i think this team becomes true contenders...but i don't know...we got a lot of holes that this gm has not filled...i know that much

this season though has been about as painful as it gets...some highs way way too many lows of late

Hoops, what are your thoughts on 20 runs in the first half, where the line dominated, to 6 in the second half when they fell apart totally?

While I didn't expect us to drop 4 straight, the tape of that 3-0 start did not lie. The Saints game got the ball rolling in terms of exposing it and even then people still just wanted to chalk it up to "Well the Saints are elite".

I'm just wondering if my own 9-7 prediction is even going to hold at this point.

100,000,000% agree. With Wallace throw it so deep no one gets to make a play if Wallace can't catch it. I would rather see it thud into the ground than to see the half skill half luck int we saw.

i thought the pats made some adjustments against the run in the 2nd half...less 2 deep safety looks more pass calls as a result...yeah we should have run the ball more though...

but tannys a qb that is gonna read numbers in the box and react accordingly imo...pretty by the book

If the coaches know this then why don't they run more two TE sets, then put a TE in motion to get one of the LB's out of the box. This is pretty elementary stuff. It seems to me that Sherman has a tough time adjusting on the fly to what the opposing teams D does in the second half of games.

probably because dion sims is zero threat in the passing game and they want to try and get other playmakers or potential mismatches more on the field at wr...sims other than a little 5 yard turn and present your #'s to the qb isn't showing any must account for in the passing game stuff...if he was more of a threat i think you'd be seeing more two tight end

How can you call a penalty for touching the ball when its a fumble? How is that any different than the play the pats made on the sideline for the first int?

I'd like to know the answer to this?
