Kenyan drake rescued our season

gase called a very conservative game...i know why...the jets front murdered us today...they sat richardson and wilkerson the entire first quarter...when they came in the los completely flipped

our o line is a very good unit but we got destroyed up front today...the pressure was all over the place when we tried to work passing game down the field...

i watched the 2nd quarter and said to myself that d line will beat us if we give them the opportunity...well a must score throwing the ball late would have been a recipe for disaster...every time we got behind the sticks they ate or forced the ball out

its the best front in football and miamis passing game better evolve between now and at the bills with marcel dareus and at the jets if we want to be playoff contenders

this team is gonna run the ball down a lot of teams throats...we really are...and i smell an identity establishing with it...but if you want to win on the road against physical fronts we are gonna have to be better up front and with the attack in the passing game

the gap fill today by the defense was really poor...as was the help play from the safety level in cover 2 and man under...it has to be better

Our guys were late

byron maxwell doesnt even make marshall catch the damn ball...hes holding an arm late with the ball in flight...what the hell...please bench that...im so over it...he must have an angel over him cause when hes torched the ball seems to be off

Poor coverage play by the corners today...i believe it when gase says xavien howard is one of his two or three best defenders...we really need him...get culliver and benwikere in the mix

looked to me like they saved mario for the second half...trying to maximize his snap count

jordan phillips showing you why athletically he was drafted top 50...you kidding me he caught that ball like a wr and showed serious athleticism after the catch...dancing bear

too bad kenny stills went out we caught them in the right coverage to take a shot and the protection held up for it and caroo early in his stem was looking back instead of full gallop carrying the route...

saw some option routes from marquise gray...team needs more from a tight end especially vs that pressure front and dvp being an afterthought...i have no doubts today that was protection based...lots of throws at or behind the los or to the flats by design even

o line escaped healthy that was mission critical...tough roadie at san diego who is better than people think coming up...be real damn glad you were healthy on the oline...they'd have blood bathed you otherwise

500 at the halfway point i will take it...just won vs the best d line we will face all year

One last thing the block in the back call on the grant punt return td came from the official behind the damn punter even...id love for someone to show me where that foul occurred...a lb cleaned out a guy i think it was hull or vigil with a great block and drake just happened to be there and thats not by any means the mans call thats behind the damn punter pre snap to make...we got hozed out of a td there unless it was early post snap at the los...he threw it though after grant had make the north south cut...if you ask me thats vegas

Yeah that kickoff return saved us. If we're still in the chase at the end of the season, those games at Buffalo and New York are going to be tough.

Ew you reminded me of carroo

I still cant believe how much our fo gave up for him

Yeah we cant go to either one of those places and win playing like we are playing right now assuming they are all hands on deck

Not gonna happen...i dont like seeing the jets and todd bowles sitting on our vertical route concepts either

agreed, cant beat either of those teams in their house without DVP and stills showing up big time, along with the run game production we have been getting.

You arent gonna get that kind of run production in their houses...and today you grinded in the run game til the jets threw in the white towel

You have to attack that secondary but if watched today when we tried they either sat on it coverage wise or pressured the hell out of the qb

But seriously, thanks for posting this, as always.

I agree that our coaching staff really have their work cut out to improve Parker, Carroo, Grant, Gray, and Jones. The coaches need to continue to our RBs in the passing game. They are doing well, but we may need more out of them.

My hope is that Benewikere, Culliver, or Howard can help to improve the backend.

I suspect you are correct about how our run game will perform in December, but I want to see if the OL and TEs can continue to improve.

I didn't see any block in the back. I saw the officials doing something naughty there.

I'll say no more.

CBS didnt even show it.

thanks for this take. I did not get to see the play (living on Red Zone this season) but i check the game thread for reactions on what's going on and all i heard was "Tannehill overthrows!". Helps to hear the whole story.

You didn't mention Jenkins...I think the LB' were actually better after he went out...

I never thought I would write this, but, our offense went down the crapper when Stills went out. Jets then took Landry away and we couldn't do anything. We had 2 mediocre TEs, and a rookie that isn't up to snuff in Carroo. It begs the question, what in the wide world of sports is the problem with Parker? He's invisible and can't create separation. CBS showed the wide angle shot where we kept 7 in to block and had 3 in the pattern. NOBODY was even close to being open. Jets doubled Landry. Tannehill moved decent in pocket all day, created some plays on the run like we all hoped he would learn to do. But without the deep threat of Stills, we have nothing in the passing game. Again, WTF is wrong with Parker? Does he just stink or what?
