Hop on the miami heat bandwagon while u can, dolphins are done

I've been watching the heat since the Glenn rice, seikly days. As far as the dolphins go once I decide to stop watching I just watch the highlights. Bro I'll put it to you this way , ask what ppl that r not dolphins fans think about the dolphins. You'll hear things like Ireland is the one who didn't draft dez Bryant cuz his momma liked crack etc... This organization is a laughing stock. When Shula was here it was different, that guy demanded respect. I can go on and on.
I don't care what fans from other teams say. I have a deep sense of loyalty and no matter how badly I want to see Ross wake up and fire Ireland, I can really only hope that he does.

And though I don't follow the NBA that close, I know enough that I won't be at all surprised to see Lebron opt out and go back to Cleveland. But that's for a different forum.

We've really gotta keep marino888's Heat B.S. out of the main forum.

I can only hope this happens but does Ross have mindset to hire the right ppl. Does Ross even care. Ross is like almost 80. We need a younger owner I believe as well. If I saw hope I would totally support this team but I just don't see the right ppl in charge. This will be my last post on this site. Gl to all you guys. Mad dog when the right ppl are in charge again of the dolphins organization you will see success and hope. I will always be a dolphins fan, so I'll try to look at dolphins games without expectations. Finheaven Ty for being a good site. Always enjoyed reading ck, ted slim, hoops, wv stuff.

You know. This thread would make more sense if it said hop on the Denver band wagon. You know. Because it's the same sport as the one the Dolphins play.

not only do they win in the regular season but they win championships, something the dolphins haven't sniffed in 40 years.

Easier to do in the NBA. And again you're under the impression that everyone here likes the Heat for some reason. They don't so stop "recruiting".

easier to do in the nba? hahahh, did u watch the finals this year???? it took a miracle for the heat to win it so youre clearly uninformed. actually theres plenty of heat fans here, so keep on hatin on the champs.

Can't wait for the Heat to start playing regular season games. At least we have a team that can win. The Dolphins find ways to lose and the sooner they find a QB and some playmakers, we will win. Until then, this franchise keeps these homers loving mediocrity.

Didn't you say that yesterday?

im a heat fan and I think this is bs. I would take 1 superbowl over 20 dumb ass NBA championships

Miami has won back to back titles haven't they? The Spurs won 4 in 9 years. The Lakers and Bulls have won multiple titles. Boston too.

Now aside from New England over the last dozen years, no other NFL team has gone on a run like the NBA teams I mentioned.

Therefore it's easier to win a title in the NBA.

You must be 19 or something. I'm not hating in the champs. I have many other things to occupy my life than to hate a professional team.

Sadly, this is the problem with the fan base. Miami has too many entertainment options for being to have to endure losing.

When I went to Baltimore game, I sat next to a real classy family of fans. They had been season ticket holders since days in the Orange Bowl. They were the quiet and respectful type. Honest people you could talk football with.

We talked about the fans, attendance and the good times and bad times. I'm from Kentucky. UK Basketball has some of the most devoted fans of any sport. We travel with our team and typically have large turnout for away games. Even during bad seasons, we sell out a 25,000 seat stadium.

When I was at the Baltimore game, I got this really disconnected feeling. The stadium feels cold and empty; not just from attendance but from the activities and uncoordinated efforts. It's like the fans don't really have a strong bond with the team. Even here in Kentucky, Browns and Bengals fans are passionate about their organizations. They always have great turnout in the bars and don't get discouraged by losing.

Honestly, our Single A baseball team, the Lexington Legends, have a better fan involvement program. It's a true family outing. There's no real fan participation in the stadium. I enjoyed being there, but I can see now why the environment is so unfavorable for our own team. On the other hand, there was a large Baltimore contingent. They were noticeably loud. Kinda embarrassing.

I agree we need a new stadium, but I think there needs to be more effort to involve the fans. The "experience" is lacking. I think their is monetary effort being applied, but I don't think there is enough effort being made for the organization to get involved with the fans. There are a lot of pieces present, but they are uncoordinated.

A new stadium would be nice, but if the fan experience is not changed by making the fans feel like they are apart of the action and have ownership in the team... a new stadium won't fix the underlying problem. Look at Green Bay, the Browns, Steelers, Cowboys and organizations with devoted fan bases. Our organization needs to develop a model that learns from these teams and do more to involve themselves in being part of the solution.

Just my 2 cents.

Go ahead tear into me, I don't even care anymore. We got a new coach, new OC, NEW QB, NEW dynamic WR and guess what, we still play the same old conservative dolphin football. Our stadium atmosphere is nonexistent, our endzone has no dolphin colors its pathetic, might as well have kept the stinkin marlins.

Tannehill half the time doesn't even make reads, he juss tosses it where Sherman dictates and guess what, it leads to pick 6's!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Overcoaching
Conservative
dead stadium no noise
Boring 5 yards outs all game when we have Mike freakin Wallace on our team which talents are being wasted.
No run game to help tannehill when he really needs it

Im a philbin supporter but him n sheerman have to be budding heads n its leading to our downfall.

U wait all week for sunday to watch this pathetic performance at home no less? no thanks , this team does nothing but stress me out. Im done.

Everyone here stil living in the past of the 72 dolphins need to wake up.

lets all thank our great owner for renovating our stadium, o ya I forgot, he didn't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The Miami heat didn't win a ring til 06 but for over 20 years they always put out a team that wins. Mickey arison is the reason, not in for the money like mr ross. Miami heat Dynasty 2014 incoming, hop on! watch a winner play

I'm pissed at the state of things and my confidence in Ireland is gone and my confidence in Philbin in waning, but I will NEVER give up on this team!!! I'm pissed because I love this team!!!

From the day pat Riley entered the heat organization we became a relevant team.

I love the Heat, especially Pat Riley, but it hasn't been all show pre LeBron. He coached a 15 win Heat team that played 82 games the year the 'Fins were 11-5 and made it to the playoffs.
