Hope Devante Parker

People keep ignoring the fact that Parker goes through hell trying to get off press coverage.

And if you can't get off press it's going to be hard for QBs to look at you very often or for very long.

I keep saying it, but Parker is coming off as soft at the NFL level, and it's questionable how much he loves football.

would love to see some examples of this, am curious if this was a weakness coming out? from what i understand seperation is/was so its logical getting off the jam is also. havent noticed it much myself but going to look deeper thanks to this post.

Perriman for Baltimore just made a better play than Parker has ever made. Perriman missed all of last year but he's already better than Parker.
We could've traded down and drafted Perriman and got an extra third round pick instead of Parker. Miami got lucky with Tunsil. If he hadn't fallen to us we would've drafted another POS with our first round pick this year, too.

Eventually you have to start hoping that it's just a nagging hammy injury.

And in case you don't know what I'm saying it's really bad when you have to start hoping for a nagging hammy injury.

We need more from DVP and I sure hope there's more to give. We're likely going to need to shoot it out with the Chargers. Good opportunity for DVP post-bye week.

Wow, that highlight video did kind of reopen my eyes a little.
You're right, that hammy has got to be a big factor. He looks so much better on those plays than anything I've seen this season.
Damn, what a shame. So frustrating.

It's hard to get off press coverage with a bad hammy. Seeing him last year at full health he had so much more spring in his step.
He's getting mental experience this year but he's useless with that injury and I wish they could do whatever's necessary to get him back to the athlete he was last year. I literally forgot how explosive he can be.

He's the single most talented receiver on this team. Anyone who wishes anything other than him getting to his best should cheer for the Jets.

I disagree, but I DO wish him the best and hope he proves me wrong.

He's bad. He drops balls, he isn't fast, he can't get open....if he's hurt then bench him.

Heres my theory. He isn't getting the ball and doesnt feel involved so he is not playing hard. I know that's a bad mentality but that's my take. Many diva WRs are like that.

We knew when we drafted him that he doesn't always get separation. He is so physically gifted that that shouldn't matter. I think Tannehill and Gase need to get him the ball more. Get him involved early in the game

He's probably running long routes and is open on some of them, but we are not giving him the chance to get the ball.

I don't understand this hamstring injury. What kind of injury takes this long to heal, he's had it since his senior year in college. He could of grew a brand new leg by now.

I don't think he was on the injury report this week for the first time ever lol. maybe it is healed now

Lets hope. I benched him in fantasy for the 1st time and I'm having the worst luck this year... so that means he'll have a monster game. You're welcome.

I said earlier I would stand clear of guys with Parkers personality. Seems aloof.
