Actually you wonder why the media keeps showing up for the pressers. Its always the same crappy questions followed by the same crappy answers.

Someone just needs to put him out of his misery already.

It is, actually. I'm not sure how it works for assistant coaches, but the head coach definitely has to be available to the media and the players most certainly do, according to NFL guidelines.

I believe it was Randy Moss who was fined (or threatened with fines) a couple of years ago because he kept refusing to talk to the media.
