Seriously, if anyone is even marginally considering Flutie, he/she needs sense knocked into them.

Of course, Saban & Co. can always sign Flutie to do drop-kick extra points.

I would not mind Flutie. If we cut Mare, he can kick field goals for us. :lol: Plus he would not even need a holder. :D
 
Kinda reminds me of when we signed Thurman Thomas a few years back. I remember die-hards fuming over that move. Understandable to feel mad about getting Flutie as a Phin fan. Can you imagine if the Lakers signed Bird, the Red Sox signed Jeter, or if Artest signed with the Pistons? Its in our nature to hate guys who played for rival teams. But I guarantee he would be well liked as a Dolphin by his teammates and by the fans...hypethetically.
 
I would take back Fiedler and Wanny before bringing in Flutie Flakes.....OK maybe not Wanny, just Ears. :lol:
 
Doug Flutie at backup is a washed up big time. The guy is washed up and we don't need a backup to do drop kicks. Let's hope a change of scenery is all Joey Harrington needs to jump start his career.
 
We could always use Flutie as a tackling dummy...
 
Are you guys crazy? I'd take Flutie for a 3rd stringer alllll day long. He's got experience and he's not a bad option. He'd be a solid choice, period!

....btw, I agree with whoever said that they dobn't like him since the BC/Canes game.
