Hotels Near Dolphin Stadium

You have the El Palacio Sports Hotel right off the Turnpike, its a dump, but it has a free shuttle and is as close as you can get, and has a great sports atmosphere. You also have the Hard Rock Hotel, its nice, and its pretty close as well
 
I am acutally fixing to leave Miami, but if I were you I would get one off University Drive...I think that is the road that is pretty close to the stadium

What do you consider "decent"? Can you be more specific?

If you're staying for vacation and like the beach; Trump International on Collins Ave. Excellent 4 star accommodations and beautiful pool if you don't like the sand.

The Hard Rock Cafe and Casino in Hollywood. If you like to gamble and don't care for the beach. Nostalgic and also 4 star accommodations.

Both of which are roughly 15 minutes from the stadium with a rental car. :)
 
I just got back from staying at the Hyatt Place in Plantation. Very close to Ft. Lauderdale. Took me about 15 minutes to get to the stadium. The hotel was very nice. Room was clean and had a big LCD TV. 100 bucks a night. Can't beat it. I was very satisfied.
 
The stadium isn't in the greatest area in the world. Stay in Hollywood, Ft. Lauderdale or the north end of Miami Beach. All of these locations are just 10-15 min away.
 
You also have the Sheraton Yankee Clipper by Ft. Lauderdale Beach. Like $90 night, and is very nice
