dont hink we should have got rid of him.

Houck was the one coach from the old regime I wouldn't have minded keeping. However now we are rebuilding again for what...the third time since we signed him? Houck's an old guy and may not be in the league anymore by the time his efforts come to fruition

Sorry, but I wasn't all that impressed with Houck coaching in Miami....

He's had a great coaching career everywhere else prior to joining us, but here with the Phinz, he couldn't find any real direction / build continuity with the players he was coaching. The OL was a weakness when he was hired, and it's still a weakness today. If he's considered one of the best, he certainly didn't do his reputation much good while coaching in Miami....

I wish him luck in Dallas, and I think he'll probably do a solid job there. Here with us however, it just never worked out for him....

PHINZ RULE!!!

big deal. he admitted to being washed up here and said the next team he goes to he hopes has probowlers. I thought that was your job, Hudson?

I think his philosophies may be a little outdated, as the quickness of the game has passed them by.

I lost pretty much all the respect I had for this "coach" after I heard him say that

Quite honestly, he is the epitome of the Saban regime. Was brought in with a lot of hype, and as of today, didnt do his job.

Saban
Hud
Culpepper
Capers
etc.

Not surprise he ended up there, also because of the Garrett connection. I wish him well.

I dont think he did that good of a job here. I know he didnt have much to work with but he was brought in to coach up our line and IMO he failed to do that, or to improve the line as much as he was hyped up to do.

You can certainly blame the FO for that. It's a shame we didn't keep him or his protege. I really hope Sparano can find someone to delegate OL coaching to so he can focus on the entire team at hand for most of the time.

We hired Mike Maser, a long-time veteran. But you can be sure Sparano will be sneaking over to their side of the field during practice.

Remember guys, he left San Diego (in good shape though, I must add) and they didn't miss a beat. Draft good linemen, and the job is that much easier.
