Houck's Rotating Tackles Working

Good find. Looks like it works so far, which should make Houck worth the price the Fins paid.

I'm no expert on the o-line, but doesn't that just make it harder for the line to gel?

If he feels its best for the team then I'm all for it, but it would be nice if we had a solidified offensive line.

Hauck has said all along that it's a big plus if these guys can play all the positions on the line. If someone goes down we'll have a capable back-up ready to step in at either Tackle spot.

This is pretty crazy... never heard of it... but if it aint broke... dont fix it...

Nasty

Might give them a good rest also and let them come out and put some real strength and push into the next series on running plays ?

You could look at it that way or you could look at it like this, he rotates, the d-fence cannot get into a rhythm facing different people. That the way I see it.

Well, until we get the LT that we need, this seems to be working right now. At the very least, if we have an injury to one of those guys, or even to one of the guards, (Carey and Big Mac have played guard) they will all have experience and be comfortable wherever they are needed...It's a little unorthodoxed, but it seems to be working right now...

Another thought, Carey is a decent player but has a history of being not the sharpest tool in the shed....perhaps this is HH's way of getting the game to sink in to Carey...??? Just a thought...I don't know for sure...
