House Should Have Cleaned Last Year

I called for it twice last year. While it is too early can him now, it is obvious he is not coming back.

It seemed Ross was going that direction at the end of last year, but than butchered the offseason.

The interest in this team is at an all-time low.

This is going to be a LONG year.

I am just going to throw out a shortlist of candidates...
Jon Gruden
Jeff Fisher
Rob Ryan

----Bill Cowher is going to the Giants...plus I think he is too conservative.

Gruden just throws one of the McCown brothers in and hopes it works out. He will drive everyone here nuts.
Fisher is Sparano SR. Hasn't won a playoff game since McNair and Eddie George were playing. Only 6 winning seasons in 16 years.
Rob Ryan is a lesser version of his brother.

Decisions made without conviction always end badly. Ross didn't fully want to bring Sparano back and shouldnt have. It was a gutless, incompetent move. There are so many delusional pollyannas in the world that things have to be a complete absolute trainwreck before they can be convinced to act on it. This is a lot like bring Wannstedt back his last year. He should have been fired before that year started as a complete cluster****.

well u got it right with the bill cowher is too conservative.

jeff fisher never got it done in tennessee and he had FOREVER to do it. his tenure ended in a debacle. he didnt support the decision to draft vince young from the beginning. and played a clearly awful kerry collins for 2 seasons. made no attempt to replace collins prior to his last year and thats a joke. no fisher.

ryan - i dont have enough info on. but just because his brother is successful doesnt mean hes the same guy. not sure on this one. but not saying no either. just dont have enough info. i guess how the cowboy defense responds will provide some info.

to me it looks like gruden to be honest. i just pray its not cowher. ross must gather as much info as he can prior to making this choice. he has to get it right

Fisher won a ton of games with a **** roster most of the time he was there. The front office didnt spend money at all and never went out to improve the roster except via the draft. They also let a lot of players walk when it was time to pay them. He is the goods.
