The 49ers are very interested in TJ and have also have mentioned Roy Williams . TJ is a free agent in 2009. The bengals are looking rough to say the least so would they let him go for the right price? He would look good in a Dolphin uniform!!This was posted on the red zone.

Right now I'm more concerned with the 53 players continuing to grow as a team but it would be a nice addition for the right price

Wow, if the Bengals trade TJ, Ocho Cinco is going to melt.

There was an update on Profootballtalk.com that SF denied interest in either WR, but I guess where there smoke there is fire. I wouldn't mind Miami taking a shot at Roy Williams but only if they don't over pay for him. This years draft class appears to have been awesome and hopefully they can do it again. Building through the draft is the way to go. But with Roy being young and proven feel he is worth a look.

we're not giving away draft picks.

I'm not averse to spending a commensurate pick to secure a WR who'll be a long-term asset for us, BUT someone like whoseyourmama better sign at least a 4-5 year contract with us before shelling out something like the JT second. He or Williams would be nice additions but certainly not in exchange for either our 1st or our higher 2nd fersure.

It could be difficult signing whoseyourmama to a long-term contract extension because his agent is the ever pompous and perpetually grandstanding whoseyourdaddy. Those types of negotiations never go as planned.

I think it would be difficult to sign whosyomama also. But I look at the effect it would have on our team. I belive that if we were to sign him it would take some pressure off our recievers. It would open up holes in the defense, because the defense would know what whosyomama is capable of. They would key on him thus opening up some space for our other recievers to prosper even more than they have already. The downside to it is what would he cost? We are still building here and need our picks. I think it would be nice though.

we are hardly a pass oriented team... and trading a 1st or second for a WR who's used to being in a pass happy offense is a terrible idea. I'd consider trading for a DB.... but all this "we need a T.O. clone right now" bonanza is getting on my nerves.

I would die and go to 2nd heaven* if we got TJ.

* Finheaven obviously being the 1st

He is too old and he is a possession reciever and feeding off chad johnson, Roy Williams would be way better( he has the speed to go down field and is a very good route runner), having him and ginn on the outside means Fasano and Camarillo can eat up the middle of the field.

100% agree... NO TJ but maybe on RW.
