Houston is better than their record? What about SD!

So we've heard plenty of talk about Houston being better than their 0-4 record shows. First of all, I do agree, so don't think I'm saying this week will be easy.

At the same time though, people are saying that SD really isn't as good of a team as some think. They will point to their record and say, SD isn't the same, they are 2-3, LT isn't the same, Merriman is gone.....blah, blah, blah.....

Well, the same thing that peopl say about Houston, could be said about SD. The Chargers lost to the PANTHERS by TWO points! They lost to DENVER by ONE point in a game they technicaly should have won!

They are one blown call against Denver and one field goal against Carolina away from being a 4-1 team with the only loss coming against our Miami Dolphins.

So really.....enough with the 'Chargers are not the same team' and 'Chargers aren't really that impressive anyways' crap.
 
you still can't say that chargers team is the same team from a year ago. I don't care what argument you give me, they aren't.

Im happy for the win though. Because a deflated chargers team still would have beaten us down a year ago.

My biggest problem with this game is the hunger.

I think that the San Diego we played would have been a different team IF we played them while they were still winless.

I think our biggest problem is that the texans havent had their first win yet :unsure:

True, I will admit that they aren't the same as last year. But the arguement that I've seen alot of here.....that fans shouldn't be thinking playoffs because 'all they've done is beat a Bradyless Patriots and deflated Chargers team' is just ridiculous.

My main point is....some fans still don't give the team enough credit. Some fans don't consider SD a legitimate team, and that is BS. The fact is, we did beat a legitimate team. The Chargers aren't the same, but they're still good, they still have weapons.
 
Houston isnt a bad team they are better then there 0-4 record and in the nfl any team can win at any point we cant take them lightly to any means
 
They cut Lorenzo Neal. He would have made the block to spring LT into the end zone. Eddie Georges career low ypc came the year the Titans let Lorenzo go.
 
miami murdered the chargers. The score wasnt any indication on how much we dominated that game. We shut down the best offense in football. We beat an elite quarterback, and we beat an elite runningback. miami was the better team. Just like we were the better team against the patriots. Sure we took some lumps against the jets and the cardinals. From what I have seen though, miami shouldnt have a problem against these texans. I see us winning by at least 10 points. This is the type of team miami should beat. We have a top 5 running game, going up against a bad run defense. Houston gets beat all the time against the team with a good run game. miami will win this game, which will end the 4 game skid.

Ok, well thank you for pointing this out AGAIN. I already stated in my first post that I don't think the Texans will be easy. I didn't dispute the fact that it will be a tough game.

That being said.....the Texans have nothing to do with my point. My point is that the Chargers are also better than their record, but people still point to their record and say they aren't that great......
 
I think SD is better then houston's record also
 
the hell with houston they give up 32 points a game and are 26th against the run. we will destroy them. our defense just held down one of the best offenses in the league, we can easily hold houston. Slaton is how they get by and we are strongest against the run

You can't say the Miami Dolphins are the same team they where a year ago either. So what's your point? Miami is a better team than 2-2. We lost the Jets game on a TD pass that would be incomplete 1 out of every 5 times it's thrown. We should be 3-1.
