I didn't get a chance to watch the game but i saw the highlights. And man seeing Penny CCC (cool calm and collect) in the pocket, making throws brought chills up my spine because for once we have a threat throwing the ball.

And Jalen parmele? I don't care if he broke an 80 yard run on back ups, he still showed that he has a fast set of legs. Oh and how about him showing he has not only speed, but power not giving up and punching the ball in the endzone?

TED GINN. All i have to say on this one. Last week he showed us why he is more then just a return man. and this week, he showed us why he is still the return man, and catching a few nice passes in traffic.

and how about the DEFENSE?! Matt Roth emergine as an OLB threat. Crowder showing explosiveness. J Peezy with a sack. Michael lehan INT, and two other INTs.

OFFENSIVE LINE? 0 sacks for the second game in a row?! explosive run blocking?!

overall i am inredibly excited for the season after seeing these past two performances.

Don't forget Merling completely enveloping LJ at the goalline and taking him down... that was a perfect form tackle. Loved it! A goal-line stand, you bet!

One thing that's getting forgot due to all the other great performances is Ricky... 3 games in a row he's been 1 tackle away from breaking a huge TD run, and that's only on a handfull of carries... I can't WAIT to see what he can do this year.
 
It just feels good to win period, man the last 5 years have been so hard to take. I am trying to keep everything in perspective with it being pre season, but you gotta love the attitude this team is showing.
 
I feel optimistic as well tonight, although I am hesitant about celebrating the pass protection yet. They definitely had some bad plays, but pennington showed he was mobile and can avoid the rush (which is consistent with how he has played against us in the past), although I am optimistic about that too! I would love it if one of the FH gurus broke down the pass protection for us.

I'm happy that the Dolphins won tonight, the team looked good. But for some reason your avatar has me cracking up right now! I can't stop laughing!
 
I was reading about the post game highlights on cnnsi.com and they were talking about Miami's "swarming defense" that caused 4 turnovers and 5 sacks...gotta love how this team is shaping up. I'm starting to get goosebumps as we get better each week! Bring on the friggin JETS already! GO FINS!!
 
I felt optimism with Nick Saban coming in and turning things around and going 9-7. I felt optimism when Cameron came and felt we were indeed in the right direction. And now i feel optimism with Parcells, Ireland, and Sparano and let me just say i have alot more optimism with these guys then I ever did with unproven guys like Saban and Cameron/Mueller.

man let me tell you, i am super excited. this is the first time the team has had any kind of confidence in over a year. can't wait for the season.
 
I saw the game. Lots of things to feel good about. Special teams, fumbles, interceptions, sacks, oline... One thing we need to remember to keep us in check is, we played a team that will picking in the top 3 of the draft next year. How much better are we than them? A very noticeable bit better.

EDIT: The penalties, I don't feel good about.
 
Im super excited and can't wait till opening game. I was at the game and after every play the sideline would empty and the whole team celebrated together. The offense and defense were united.

You know what sucks though, instead of people talking about our win or how good we looked. All everyone is talking about in this forum is Brett Farve and the JETs. This site needs to start banning stuuf like that.
 
For someone who was at the game, how was the stadium? Pretty crowded?
 
The stadium was pretty crowded for a pre-season game and the fans were real into the game. The place would erupt after every big play and the crowd was awesome. I swear Patriot and Jet fans are closet Dolphin fans I counted atleast 3 Patriot jerseys and 4 Jets jerseys. Aside from that it was great.

I understand exactly where you are coming from, but neither with Cam or Saban did our team look half this good.
