He has the body for it and is fast enough, for that position.... His speed isn't ideal for the CB position that's why I think that a switch to the strong safety will be really good for this team. :dolphins: :dolphins:

No, he doesn't have the body for it. He's 5'10" and about 190 lbs. Not what you'd call the ideal size for a SS. We need him at corner. SS are generally cheaper than corners, so what would we gain by it anyway?

i think right now thats probably onof the strongest positions we got in our d safeties

Ed Reed is 5'11 and 200 pounds, Will would be able to make the 10 pounds to be even with that  I agree however, he shouldn't be moved to SS it's completely different than what he would be used to and we can just as easily get a SS.

Why don't we try a guy at SS who actually played the position before.

How about we wait for him to come back and see how he does at corner? Let's just hope he can regain his form and contribute.

Why do we keep insisting on Daniels or Poole to convert to Safety ...

I doubt either will withing the next 2-3 years - if ever.

I can't seem to shake the feeling that many of our fans didn't watch his rookie season. We either have a lot of new fans, or they just avoided watching the 4-12 season all together. Will looked to be a good pickup in his rookie season. Let's not ruin it by changing his position.

Bob Sanders of the Colts is hardly the ideal size for an SS (5'8" & 210 lbs) but he can lay a lick on ya.
