Maybe he can get this offense moving better than Pennington? i mean it's not like were running anything complicated route wise and as much as i have been impressed with Pennington's play he may be benefiting from the wildcat more than anyone on the team with the defenses always having that formation in the back of their head. Maybe we'll also see ted ginn appear on the field too. just some thoughts to think about.

so essentially you're asking that since pennington can only get around 230 ypg and a td, we should hands the reins over to the unproven rookie? pennington has been the best qb we've had since dan hands down and you wanna replace him? without pennington we likely wouldn't even have one win.

I wouldn't mind seeing henne get in for a play now and then but pennigton has done very well for us. He will remain the starter for sure.

May I ask WHY??? We are scoring points. That isn't the problem with this team. We are moving the ball consistently and not turning it over. There is no logical reason to replace the QB at this point....

u mean to sit the most accurate QB in NFL history for an unproven QB? Henne is good, but he will play when the time comes.

Im sorry thats one of the dumbest comments ive heard so far...why in the world would u want henne in there over pennington...hes been great so far and manages the game...in case u forget we're a running team and i garuntee henne would turn the ball over like every rookie quarterback does...check out joe flacco..the only reason the ravens win games is bc of their defense

The agenda in this post was well hidden in the second to last sentence...

...another one that buys into the "Ted Ginn is really fast"....rhetoric and has visions of Ginn magically striding wide open down the sideline with no defender in sight and Henne dropping rainbows into him....

Why would we take out Pennington when our offense is finally scoring points. Let Henne sit this year so he can learn the playbook and be comfortable with it. Theres no need to rush Henne in if he isnt ready yet. Henne should be ready to play when he knows the playbook by heart, so he can just go out there and play and not think about what he is doing.

we still do have a top-10 offense. how many top-10 offenses do you know who pull the starting QB to insert a rookie?

Sometimes ya gotta love these boards.....

At least 2 threads already have Penny going to the Pro-bowl, and this one has him getting benched for a rook....

Anyone have a smiley face that scratches his head?
