We don't what the list of top candidates will look like come January. No one with a current job will be coming to our rescue in October.

I really believe we should give a coach like Campbell or Duffner the interim job. We need someone who has a limited scope currently. If you promote Lazor, you are promoting a guy who has already built up skepticism among the players. No one can look at this offense and think that it looks efficient or competent. So, if you are on the defense, are you going to suddenly want to play your @ss off for the guy who has been wrecking the offense? Obviously, Coyle is not an option, because he should follow Philbin out the door. Rizzi? Maybe.
 
I'd be down. He is a pretty good Defensive Coordinator. Has been in crappy teams with ****ty Defenses. Didn't the Cowboys go to like dead last in Defense after he left and I don't think he has ever been a HC. He might have that fire, that desire! I'd be down tbh.
