Since the game is being broadcasted in the local markets, there is a chance places (bars) that have the big old satellites can pick that feed up. That's how I get to watch all the preseason games.

I usually hit the Ale house or Beefs in Tampa. Problem is that theses places have to "find" the feed and won't know until around kickoff.

Sorry if this was discussed but there are 500 posts about DTV and Cable.....

No they will not be able to pick up the game.If you remember last year during the Tenn game none of the sats. could pick up the game because regular season NFL games our sent out through digital waves not air waves which makes it impossible to be picked up through the air as normal sats. do. They make it this way to prevent bars from picking up local games without actually paying for the Ticket. Thus meaning that we are all completely ****ed because the NFL is a bunch of *******. They can change games for other teams just not the Dolphins

I believe the scrambled it last year, because it was on a Saturday and there was college football on. I don't believe that will be the same case tonight.

WTF I'm really pissed man. Why can't it be nationally televised? Two good NFL teams playing on a Friday night when there is nothing on? Even so, why can't DirectTV air it??? They have the NFL contract. This is BS.

DirectV cannot broadcast the NFL outside of the Sunday time frame, by contractual rights. That is why it is on tape delay Sunday at 1 O'Clock.

That is an excellent point! No excuse why they couldn't at least make a compromise and do that.
