I couldn't figure it out but now I got it.

He really reminds me of Brent Grimes.

He definitely moves like Grimes and plays with Grimes instinct.

Looks like the kid is going to be a good player for us.

That was a huge play on the goal line. He played like a veteran for the most part, and will only get better.

Having him in the backfield with the other two safeties, allows for a lot if flexibility.

I really wish we had another decent DB so we could get McDonald off the field and move the kid back there full time.

When asked what was the most memorable thing about his NFL debut, Minkah said “The pick that I dropped.”

Also during the game the announcers said Gase told them the only reason he isn’t a captain is because he is a rookie.

Kid is special, and he wants to be great.

Fitz is significantly more fluid in reaction and diagnosis than Grimes (at his best) IMO. Tho I seriously doubt he's got Grimes' vertical!

But the comparison is eh? because Fitz is a "different kind of talent" that uses exceptional smarts first and not just a "great athlete."

As evidenced by the 4th down stop -- Fitz is a closing machine/tackler -- not just a coverage guy.

Thus he's a S/DB/ and not a CB -- tho he has CB athletic chops and speed...

Just keep the kid ON the field!

I understand that Grimes isn't on the team anymore.

But are you trying to say Grimes diagnosis and reactions aren't on par with Fitz?

If so, you're insane or didn't pay enough attention when he was here.

Also, how could you say Grimes was just an athletic player and not an equally smart player?

Well dude don't get all insecure and attack mode, that's my take.

And thanks for the insanity compliment but... Maybe you should come up a more convincing comparison.

Or better yet. Leave it alone.

Doesn't remind me of Grimes at all. And yea -- I saw him play.

They're very different.

Like orangutans and gorillas.

Why on earth was he only on the field 44 out of 69 (63%) defensive plays?

Because we cant find a ****ing #2 CB, so he has to play nickel corner and McDonald's dumb ass is our FS.

Tankersly needs to get his **** together.
