i have always been a slight fan of jacksonville im not gonna lie.
last night they looked really good.
on both sides of the ball. im kinda not looking forward to facing the jags. the only thing going our way is that the jags dont play quite as well on the road. i seen a stat on espn this morning about how they allow less than 9 points at home while on the road they allow about 22 with a 1-3 record.
unlike minnesota, it will be hard to shred jax secondary, and they are hard to run on.

another thing going are way... is our 10 day rest, but that might not as well as it seems. lets just see how it plays out.

Would have been nice if Jax had lost last night.

The Giants are ravaged by injury and Eli looks awful. That stadium is a tough place to play, just ask Dan Marino. The Jags definitely caught the Giants at the right time. As you said they are a different kind of cat outside that All-Hell Stadium, so with the extra days of rest I think we'll be alright.

P.S.- The Jags make me puke. I hate that stadium and that stupid half-witted mascot. Not to question your allegiance to the Dolphins, but I personally have had too many negative experiences in that stadium and with those bandwagon-jumping NFL fan wannabes to last me a lifetime to ever even be a "slight " fan. I can't wait until the day Wayne Weaver pulls an Art Modell, packs the moving vans in the middle of the night, and hits I-10 straight to L.A..

If Jacksonville is so good, why did they lose at home to the Texans last week? Better yet, why did they get swept by the Texans?

I'm not scared of their run D, nor their pass D.
They both looked stellar last night due to Eli Manning's recent trend of sucking :)! and the homefield advantage along with changes amongst the Giants oline led to Tiki's horrible performance.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention; They don't have Mike Peterson (one of the better run stuffing MLBs in the game), nor Darius (an overall probowl caliber SS who specializes in hard hitting and standing near the line like an extra LB).

Psst... we lost to the Texans, too.

I know we did, but I am not claiming Miami to be very good. I was trying to make a point to the guy who thinks the Jaguars are all that. They aren't.

NOR do the Jags have Marcus Stroud..possibly one of the best DT's in the league..so no stroud, peterson, and darius..that bodes well for us doesnt it?

i will forever root against jacksonville due to other reasons.....lets just say me, my wife and others went to Jax to watch the mia-jax game about 3 years ago....i was never surrounded by so many white pieces of trash as i was at that game (i'm enlish & scotch-irish, the wife is cuban) who were yelling at our group to get back on boats and go back, that they'd call immigration etc. on us...this from about 30 fans surrounding us on all sides....

thats pathetic....people are so ignorant.

i HATE jacksonville as well, the city itself gives off a "dirty" vibe when i drive thru it to north carolina {i have family there}....i hate that city, and that team

Very well said. I LOATHE the Jaguars.

Jags and Texans has kind of turned into the Jets Dolphins in a way...Houston has beat them 5 times even when they suck..

they actually have a nice stadium (being relatively new) and I like the "Bud Zone" concept at one side of the field/endzone where people can just hang out and drink while still watching the game. That said...I still don't like "them", lol.

Jax is the epitome of an 'inconsistant' team. Some games they are really on. Like last night. Otheres, there really off. Like the texans games. Lets hope we play them on an 'off' day.
