Joey Porter for Michael Huff?

Huff is only 26 hes a good coverage safety.

porter gets to go to his homestate, al davis might do it.

Joey is from Bakersfield. He might be closer to home in Phoenix than the Bay area.

I dont even think al davis is wacked enough to trade for porter. He really does not have any trade value.

Unlikely but one thing I have learned through the years, with Al Davis, anything is possible. Dude is loonier then a Jay bird.

A trade we should look into is for S.Rogers of Cleveland. A.Rubin played really well during their win streak and could leave Rogers on the outside looking in. We could offer a package of Y.Bell (if he doesn't want to restructure with us) and/or P.Merling and a late round pick. Both players are needs for them and unloading Rogers contract would be a plus for Cleveland.

I'd rather keep Merling.

Not sure even Al would be crazy enough to do that trade. However, if we show him Ginn's 40 times, maybe we could get him to trade up something decent for him? Seems to like fast WR's that can't catch the ball.

Other GMs know of Joey Porter and his situation here
so why would someone want to trade for another player who will be available without a trade?

I don't know where this trade crap comes from but how often does one see trades in the NFL?

You never see one of these trades......but when has that ever stopped someone from making a thread about it?
