how are we rebuilding?

bc we traded marshall away? bc we have a new coach? bc yb is gone? we have upgraded the line, imo upgraded the d with vernon, and wilson moving to saftey. i dont get it. we have upgraded so how are we rebuilding? we have a better roster right now than we did last year. the backfield is stacked, have a actuall qb competition, really like the young wrs we have. the d is pretty much the same, so again how are we rebuilding?
 
Rebuilding to me applies to a team that went like 5-11 or worse. I don't think we are rebuilding, I think we are simply building, but at the end of the day it is just how you want to classify it. Put simply we are not a superbowl team so we need to build to be one.

ok thats a good way to put it.
 
We needed to add players to improve and be a winning team. After 3 losing seasons you are labeled rebuilding. Now that we have a QB we are just renovating.
 
we're just building at this time but then again you always need to be in the NFL

I think one way of looking at it is look at the Steeler oline, clearly they are rebuilding it with Pouncey, Gilbert, and now Castro and Adams, you wouldn't say the Steelers are rebuilding though would you?
 
Other teams improved and had drafts too, not just the dolphins.

If Tannehill really develops into a good one, and if the dolphins have 2 really good drafts in 2013 and 2014, the dolphins will be about 2 to 3 years away from making any noise.
 
Find me a team that doesn't think they improved after the draft and felt like they didn't upgrade their roster.

We are rebuilding because we fired our coach, have a whole new staff, drafted the most important position in football who the FO has stated they would like to ease him into things. Sure doesn't sound like "we had a winning team and now we are just tweaking". This team has been rebuilding for a long time, this is just another phase of it. Nothing wrong with it either, hell call it what you will, this is the first time in a long time im actually excited about the structure of this team in the next few years, knowing that it will be a few before realistically we should compete for a Superbowl hopefully.

People on here don't seem to get this point. They need to go look at other teams' drafts. There are plenty of teams that improved much more than us....

They seem to think it was a great draft...just because it didn't completely suck and we got a QB. Our QB we got is a huge risk, and this team could actually regress.

Yeam, except other theams don't get a steal and let their biggest need fall to them in the second. Even if Tannehill busts, I am confident in Jeff Irelands intectual ability.

New coach New QB no true #1 WR on the team no pass rush outside of wake, What the team is set on is a bunch of Corn-feed big men & 3 Qb's but no wide out to throw it to.

It seems like Dolphins are rebuilding due to all that. To add to that By far have the worst WR corp in the league on paper by a landslide i like Wallace but C'mon is he really going to be the go to guy?

inb4 delusional dolphin fans say we don't need a #1 WR we have Bess :logic:
 
I'm getting tired of this "rebuilding" crap. We're just building a team! GEEEEZZUS!

Why get caught up in labels? Things are so dynamic in the NFL, who knows..who says Clay and Bess don't kill it this year? If we win 7 games, it's an improvement.
