how are we rebuilding?

Any damn team can regress if things don't go right..especially in the draft! Duh! All draft picks (especially in the first round) are risky. Thanks for pointing that out. But hell, at least we finally had the balls to take that QB in the first round...even if it's not the one you wanted.

Just because we've had a few losing seasons doesn't mean it's going to continue because you or the "realists" say it will. If you don't like the draft, fine that's your choice, but don't harp on the 92 percent who did...or the people who actually believe in Philbin and the rest of the team to turn this franchise around. I love how you and Mr Grey over there love to take swipes at anyone who has anything positive to say about this team let alone the draft! It's actually quite annoying, but predictable nonetheless. Get over it already...there actually ARE people who think we can be a good team, and soon!
 
IF you dont have a QB to build around your rebuilding. we didnt win enough games to be even sorta mentiond in play-off talk last year and we dont have a proven real QB yet. that being said winning solves all problems. look at the 49ers they were looking to be rebuilding on offense last year when a new HC turned the team around rebuilding can be painfully slow (like for us) or quite quick. But the bottom line in this league is no QB your not going very far and are rebuilding untill you have one in place.
 
Rebuilding didn't start after the Marshall trade. We've been in rebuild mode for several years now.

Problem is, we haven't really built anything. You've got one guy trying to hold up a wall and no one else ready to nail it down so that you can start the roof. Ladders are falling over and we're trying to build without hammers.

We've had almost 10 losing seasons in a row ... except for a healthy Penny & I think Saban eked out a 9th win. Last 3 have been especially pitiful 7-9, 7-9, 6-10

If you don't want to call it Rebuilding ... what would you like to call it?? Defibrillation?? .... CLEAR .... bzzzZAPpppp!! Hope Philbin can find a pulse in his first year of residency!!

wtf does a bench press have to due with anything? look at the film, and at the work he put on the field not a ****ing bench press

Bench press tends to show a lot about strength v. stamina and the balance of the two.

When you're colliding with other huge bodies regularly as a lineman, it can give you and "idea" of how quickly a man can tire out.

why "rebuilding". are the patriots "rebuilding" their defense? did they "rebuild" their offense by drafting two tight ends? this term, "rebuilding" should be never used again...ever. Do we have a great team where we're one draft pick away from a dynasty? NO. are we the Colts that are in complete disarray, with no defense, few offensive stars?...NO

We have talent, we have pieces that work, we have strengths....by all accounts, we seem to have a structure FINALLY in place to develop this talent. So, we're building a new team BUT EVERY TEAM IN THE NFL Builds...rebuilds...cuts...replaces...drafts... and BUILDS again.

The only logical aspect of the 2012 Dolphins season you could call "rebuilding" is the fact that we're installing a new offense and defense. but the term "rebuilding" has that negative connotation that the season is somewhat wasted and we're bound to lose every game. No.

LOL ... this argument was written all last year ... then pfffttt!! ... 6-10 (not to speak of the last 10 years as I pointed out!!)

OK, OK ... Defibrillation, Poop-flinging, etc. ... sounds much BETTER!!

First time coach, new coaching staff, new O & D schemes, musical QBs, leaky O-Line, leaky-DB, watered down WR, look-see RB depth, etc. etc. ... oh lawdy, miss clawdy!!

Bengals were rebuilding,had a "suppose" horrible team and ranked #32 in many power rankings..let that marinate. We have as good a team as the new teams that made the playoffs last year. They obviously think a wide out on our team has some untapped potential. Give it a chance...besides losing Marshall,wouldn't you all say this is the best overall team in years? I see a 10 win team,but hey maybe I'm just a "homer"
