I'm interested in knowing how bad the guy really played from the honest regulars on this board, and not the 10 year olds who have started all these "Feeley Sucks" threads.

I say the numbers.....nothing special, 6-13, 60 yds w/ a pick.

how bad was the pick:confused:

so, to those who watched the game, id like to know how much feeley really "sucked"

Sigh.....he just looks to me like a deer in headlights whenever the pocket breaks down....and with our o-line it happens alot.LoL. His performance wasn't the worst i had ever seen....but it was close. 27.5 QB rating or something. Yikes....Gus had a QB rating of 50 something and people were saying he was head and shoulders better.

he didn't look good but he wasn't as bad as some say. he had a couple of really close balls, some drops, and a lot of plays where he had pressure. if minor would have caught that easy ball i think he could have got some momentum. but as it was i think he got pretty frustrated and then started to force things since he knows that the qb job is on the line.

but gus just looks so much more comfortable right now and he was really close to getting some long completions. i know close doesn't count but that was last night. a lot of plays that could of, maybe later in the season will be. i think gus will win the job and once he gets into a comfort level will be a pretty decent qb. but i think more than that depends on how much time our line gives whoever starts. any qb can look brilliant w/ enough time.

jacksonville has a really good starting d and we moved the ball against them but just didn't put up the points. i think when the starters are in for a whole game we will get more of a rythm. :):horsey:

wait until the 4th preseason game before all these doom and gloom coments. we aren't even scheming the other team yet.

I am kind of glad I missed the game too.

The 10 year olds are right this time.

The pick was a loose overthrow down the middle into coverage. I had to chuckle when Spielman's investments -- Feeley and Gordon -- each donated a turnover.

We had 16 rushing attempts, while allowing something like 38, and the two top QBs struggled to average 5 yards per pass attempt. That is a remarkable blueprint for 3-5 wins, no more and possibly less.

I'm still willing to give our new offensive scheme the benefit of a doubt, but more pansy plays like the throwback swing pass that Jacksonville massacred early in the game will test my patience before the Denver game even begins.

I consider myself a regular here, And I guarantee you Im not 10 years old. Friend...got to tell you, he really look bad! And Im not only going my his 27 QB rating, or the dumb int, or the intentional grounding. Is the way he looks in the pocket. He seems unconfortable, not in control, doent seem to be able to read coverages as well as other QB's on the team. He locks on to WR too often. I was hoping for him to come in this year and be our QB for the future, but after going to several practices and seeing him in 2 games... I dont see a progression, if anything he is regressing. Gus hasnt looked great either, but I believe at this moment he is clearly our #1 QB. I wouldnt be shocked to see Saban trade for another QB.

He plays like he's scared he's going to break his other buttcheek :booty:

Atleast it is some creativity!! I havent seen anything like that in years. Hopefully with some more practice, we will be able to excute those kinda plays well because when done right... they are big plays!!

Nasty

I say Frerotte was much worse than Feely was. His throws weren't anywhere close to the recievers, they only difference is a defender didn't catch any of his (although they nearly did). Neither one really moved the offense, the only one who did in the first half was Ricky. Frerotte also nearly had Chambers killed over the middle, but he actually gave the safety the worst of the hit.

Are you aware of the 2 QB he didnt have an INT and did put points on the board?
