Think about it eh? heartbreaker still.....punk *** texans always have our number how the hell did that happen? if we would have won...wed be 8-4 tied for first in our division...and if we didnt win the division atleast a wildcard spot....damnit!!! I already know how this is going to go down...we finish 10-6 and miss the playoffs because were the dolphins, and im usually optomistic **** jus look at my posts man, and then well have high hopes for next year and be all excited and then well got 5-11 DAMNIT!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Yep. Too bad we didnt use the clock properly and instruct Ronnie to get on the ground once he attained that first down on 2nd and 3 instead of scoring the TD. We couldve kicked a FG to win with between 10-20 seconds left in the game. We would be sitting real pretty right now.
 
I'm always thinking about that too, but ow well what can you do.
 
The only positive spin I can put to losing to Houston is that if we do go 11-5, tied with the Jets and Cheats, because the loss to them was one of our uncommon games, it actually helped us in beating them out in the tie-break standings.

I thought about that game earlier today also. I get a sick feeling everytime. :(

What happened is in the past though. I am sure the case could be made in the opposite direction. What if Carpenter missed the field goal at the end of the Raiders game? What if there was not a call of offensive pass interference on that long Denver touchdown pass? What if Wallace got that Seahawks just a little closer and Mare hit the game winning field goal? What if the defense didn't have a goal line stand against the Chargers late in the game?

A lot of good has gone our way this year, so I can't really beat them up over that one game. Sure it would have been great to win that, but I also think it was a good learning experience for a young team and a young head coach.
 
That does not sting as much as the Week 1 loss to the Jets. If we had won that, we would be sitting real pretty right now.

lol yeah i guess its better we lost to them than anybody but...u know if we end up being tied with everybody....we could have just ended up winning by 1 more game and didnt even need the tie u know? lol but i get what your saying
 
I guess we should be happy with the fins record after last year...but as dolphin fans weve wanted play offs for so long we just look back at past games and wonder what could have been....but I guess we cant complain because our expectations were low coming into the season atleast mine were
 
ya it would suck big time. i remember saying i think the week after that loss how much it would hurt if we ended up not making the playoffs specifically because of that loss. hopefully though we will make it with that loss and win a superbowl, and it will be all forgotten.

Not as big as that Jets game.
 
Personally I feel that is what turned our season around. It hurt to watch, but whos to say that it didnt help turn our season around.

i guess you can make that argument, but i mean the next week we did come home to the ravens and we looked awful also.
