wow i was impressed with how these two communicated and delivered today.I thought it would be hard to get it to chris chambers because i thought that the chargers would focus on stopping chambers. i was also impressed with marty booker playing well out there. im glad to have him back. what is your thoughts on chris chambers as of now and gus?

I love CC!! But to be honest after that dismal first half (again) I was begging for Sage to come in the game... And once again I prove to my self that I am a great fan but would be a $hi**y coach :) I have always defended CC and I always will. Just like Gadsen... who I miss:cry:

CC held on today...but then McMike dropped one and I thought it was gonna be another day of the drops.....I also was thinking we should put Sage in after the first quarter which sucked.....but we never had the ball. I am glad Nick had more patience than me. :D

I think CC had another GREAT day. I think that GUS is finally beginning to understand something about CC that Sage has known for a while. CC is not good at catching low balls... The higher or further from his body the ball is, the better this guy catches... He is a true hands man... His body will only get in the way! He has always made the spectacular catches because the ball is not on his body! He has the soft hands and the leaping ability to make those catches!!!

Maybe I don't remember exactly but I didn't think Gus had that bad of a start to the game. At least I don't think he was bad enough to bring Sage in. Anyway, that is exactly what we need out of him every week, I believe he was something like 14 for 22 with 225 yds. Also what doesn't come up in the stats was his great pocket presence and escapability today. He made a couple of great moves in the pocket, especially on that deep ball to Booker, he stepped up great and threw a nice deep ball at a crucial time, great play.

No but the leader is the QB. If the team can't go down the field they allways look at the QB!! But it really wasn't all him either CC/McMike/Brown had drops in the first half but it happens and it isn't fair to blame the QB everytime but it sometimes you just can't help it. He proved alot to me today but I still want us to pick up a new QB in the off season!

They both looked great in the second half of the SD game. They shut down our running game and dared Gus to beat them and he lit them up. Thats what we have needed all year. That kind of balance will open up the running game. I was sitting in shock after some of those pass plays. CC is improving and reducing the drops as well.
