OK went to NFL.com and looked at the numbers here's where we stand right now.

Offense: Overall 26th

Passing: 24th

Rushing: 13th

Scoring: 21st

Defense: Overall 5th

Passing: 10th

Rushing: 6th

Scoring: 3rd

Now keep in mind it's just preseason and there are still a couple of games to be be played for week three. Also keep in mind that we have faced three of the best defenses in the league from a year ago. I just wanted to look at how we're doing. Also keep in mind that Pennington only played in 2 of the 3 preseason games and Ronnie hasn't played much at all. I think this is a good sign for us, but will these numbers carry over into the regular season? Time will tell, but I see improvements to say the least.

I'm definitely happy with what I've seen so far. Granted, it hasn't all been good but as long as we're ahead at the end it turned out alright. I think you're right though...it is just preseason. The true test i think is going to be week one. Pennigton, in my mind, is way surpassing expectations.
