How bout this game management decision......

Tony's job is on the line. He needs to make some decisons that are going to save it. Down 2 scores with 8 minutes and a O that was moving the ball pretty good against us. GROW A SAC!!!!. Shotgun spread formation and let DT get the yard!!!!

Definately no need to discuss whether or not punting or going for it was the correct decision. Either one wouldnt have been a decision to be criticized for.

The point is our HC made neither of those choices. Instead he did the worst possible thing he couldve done. He drained every second he could off the clock and then burned one of our 3 timeouts in the faint hopes that we could draw a team offsides on a bush league gimick that NEVER WORKS. Bush league my friend, bush league.

I would agree with you that once you burn that timeout, that going for it was then the better choice. IMHO having only 2 timeouts in that spot completely changes the scenerio so much that personally I wouldve gone for it as well. If I have all 3 timeouts, Im never afraid to punt in that spot. It wouldve had to be around 6 minutes or less for me to go for it there if I have all of my timeouts.

I was on record in chat before the play as saying theres no way he shouldnt go for it.

The clock was running when he tried to get the offsides? If so, holy ****, its even worse than I gave him credit for.
 
It never changes. WV, do you recall the battle we had about time management in Sparano's first year after the Houston game? You were right. You warned of dark days ahead with Moron O and game management decisions at the time. It has been a repeated sequence of stupidity on the sidelines.

I thought the Bills were incompetent under Jauron but this coaching staff makes them look proficient.

I'm saying that I'm not even worrying about formulating an opinion about it. It's out of my control, and how can I get excited about INSERT NEW COACHES NAME HERE when I have seen several superstar coaches come in and flop, several guys who seemed decent at first and then got increasingly mediocre, and one guy who was supposed to know offense and then made it his point to base his offense on the worst players you could possibly get?

I worry more about what the players are doing because it's completely obvious what is happening on the field, where the players are failing, and what players are out there (or were out there) that could have fixed those mistakes. Coaching, except for the decisions and win/loss records, involves dozens of intangible things that I don't see and can't judge.

My point is merely that there are many here who would criticize Sparano for not going for it, yet they would also be the first here to criticize him if he had gone for it and not made it. I criticize Chad Henne for not scoring TD's, but I would shut the heck up if he actually scored TD's on 2/3 of his red zone opportunities.

Whats it feel like to be confident you're going to win a game? Us fin fans havent felt that in a while. I miss that feeling. I dont like ******, i dont like his trashbin of wasted timeouts, or his get off the field antics. **** sparano, fire that idiot
