Do u think the fins will turnit around for the rest of the season...and what do u think needs to happen for the turnaround to occur?

Do you remember what happened last year?? Think about that and hope for the best.

They can turn it around. Will they? Who knows? Everyone keeps talking talent. The talent is there my friends. Saban knows talent. He proved that last year. It's the fire that's missing. This is the first season I've ever seen Zach Thomas give up on a play.

I still believe this is one of the most talented teams in football. Look at our skill players and it's just scary to think what they could do with some solid OL play. People are getting on our defense, but look at the points we are allowing and yards as well. The only knock on the defense is they allow to many 3rd down conversions. But they kind of use the bend but don't break philosphy and they really don't break. We are great on defense on our side of the field. The defense has allowed 54 points in 3 games but remember a TD against Pitt was from the defense, and Wes Welker handed the Titans 3 points last week. So that is 44 points allowed in 3 games, just an average of 14.6 points a game.

I guarentee you that if we got some decent pass protection and decent push on running plays, this team will be one of the best. Like I said, I still think it's scary just how good this team CAN be. We just haven't seen it yet.

Coaching decisions got us here , so the coaching staff better figure out a way to correct things, especially that OL.

Turn it around, maybe but probably not...I don't care what anybody says Culpepper isn't even close to 100% and we probably shouldn't be risking his knee by rushing him in there...He runs slower than Marino did! Anyway fingers crossed, anything can happen, and our schedual is pretty good.

They will turn it around....just hope it's not to late when they do.

They'll turn it around. You could see the playcalling being adjusted to our talent level last week. The gameplans have been simplified. It'll take time though. By week 8 we'll have a better idea of what we have. Hopefully we stay around .500 until then

All this talk of the OL is deserved but very deceptive. Look, Culpepper is suppose to be an OUTSTANDING QB- not mediocre, not just great, but freagin OUTSTANDING. I mean, am I wrong? Please someone correct me if I am. Even when he was with Minn, obviously I wasn't a fan yet, but if you said to me Daunte Culpepper, I'd reply- OUTSTANDING. An outstanding QB ladies and gentlemen should know the capabilities of his line and make the propper adjustments. An outstanding QB should know to throw the ball away instead of taking a sack of any loss. An outstanding QB understands that he has to make outstanding plays every now and again, all by his lonesome, to pick his team up from the bowels of atrocity. An outstanding QB needs to put the ball in the air more often then not so that the WR may have his turn to HAVE to make a play for the team. Anyone seen this from Culpepper yet? I'm sorry my friends. I am of sound and mind that THIS Daunte Culpepper can have all the time in the world and you know what he's going to do with it? Same thing he's been doing in those instances where he gets the time- he's gonna check it down all the way to Brown or Barnes. Culpepper's ailment is not his knee, it ain't the playbook, and it's certainly not timing. You have to attempt a pass every now and again for timing. His ailment is in his head and those of you who can't see it just from his simple mannerisms on the field, have not watched a plethora of football in your lifetime.

well put..but he'll have a breakout game next week..and it will bring up his confidence..and he'll be back to the way he was when he was in Minn.

The issue basically is where we are getting physically beat versus technical problems. Technical problems are feasibly corrcted. Physical are not. You are either fast enough or strong enough or big enough.

If we cut down on the technical mistakes we would improve significantly.

In the 1st 3 games we have had blown coverages, guys not blocking the right people, passes into triple coverage, penalties at inopportune times.

Our physical problems are:

1) Interior offensive line is struggling to move DT's off line of scrimmage
2) Our secondary is not good enough to shut down teams receivers.
3) Our WR corps doesn't really scare anybody, hence 8 men in the box.

These things will be harder to correct.

From your lips to God's ears my friend. Yes, I am critical of my QB, but you better believe I want nothing but the best for him because it means nothing but the best for a team I have loved since before I knew how to spell D-o-l-p-h-i-n-s.

miamis offense depends on the line. having 4 guards on IR does not help. i'm glad we are starting to adjust the playcalling. i'm still waiting for the deep ball though. i say first play of the game, chuck a deep one to chambers.

Get a time-machine and go back to early March; back to the moment Wayne's plane touched down in (what was it) Geogia/Mississippi; back to the meeting with #9; and freeze that instant when someone whispered that an offer should be made and wasn't (at least not the proper one)...that outta do it!
