Peter King is not clueless. But that doesn't mean he's always right. Besides, it not being "a good sign" does not mean that it was Bush's fault.

The quote is

Not a good sign for a guy who wants to be an every-down back.

Sounds like he's placing the blame on Reggie to me. Or else it would be "Not a good sign for a team that wants to effectively rush the football."

I read the quote. I'm just giving King the benefit of the doubt, I guess. To each their own.

Most of us would replace Peter King's name with you know who. You could replace his name with about three names, who put on a show back in the winter.

Actual his Monday Morning QB is always pretty insightfull

This Pats slobber is no better at writing "eloquent" garbage than any beat reporters in South Florida. Because he writes for a national audience, he is given more of a pass. Shouldn't be the case.

He is often wrong about a lot of things. (Favre, etc.).

King is a decent writer, but he takes all his insight from other sources. He is real quick to over-react on things.

Overall, I don't think national writers or media have a good gauge on each individual team. There are simply too many teams to follow, how could they really know where they all truly stand, especially before the season.

Personally I don't find that statement to be too volatile or wrong.

Overrated runningback + no running lanes= problems for any running back who wants to be a feature back

DT had the same crappy running lanes and at least fell forward for positive yardage... not a lot of positive yardage.. but positive nonetheless.

really? the same? on the GL, Okam hit Bush 3 yards behind the LOS...not one play for DT was that the case..

I'd love for those here who watch the game multiple times to find me where RB left yards on the field.
