Talks about how bad Sean smith is??? You all talk about how ginn plays scared, but Smith is a defensive players who is afraid of catching a
cold, ya can't teach tackling
we need to draft another DB
 
Yeah
he's a tackling machine for sure
and that was exactly that. Preseason means nothing
he's done nothing this season
 
No one talks about how bad Sean Smith is because he's been doing great for a starting cb.

Either your expectations are ridiculously sky-high or you need to stop drinking.

we are all over ginn because.... he has had 35+ games to prove himself with many many chances. Smith is in his what, 7th game? whoopdeduu, and thats with splitting time for the most part... go look at Nnamadi's first season. 17 tackles, 8 assists, 0 passes defesed 0 int???! come on, smith has already had a better season not even half way through. davis has too for that matter. hes learning, he looks fearless and was a couple inches from a 100 yard pick 6. hop off his dick. he will improve..

I wouldn't say Smith has been a shut-down corner by any means, but you make it sound like he's a liability and the worst guy on our defense.

His play and tackling have been satisfactory so far. He's already covered some of the best receivers in the league, in many cases one on one for much of the time. He stayed lockstep with Reggie Wayne against the Colts, for example.

He would probably look much better if we had a free safety and middle-linebacker that weren't passing coverage liabilities.
 
We kind of knew that Vontae was the more physical corner and the guy who can lay a hit on someone. Sean Smith is a press corner, can run well with the big boys in the league. You actually can teach tackling, Sean Smith will get better.
 
He looked fine today...should have had the INT for a TD, but what can you really do?

He got burned once or twice, but you kind of expect that with a rookie CB, ditto for Vontae.

I like both of them.
 
He is a rookie with a lot of promise. He has been burnt a couple of times, but that is to be expected. You can ***** next year if he hasn't improved...
