That's the real reason we lost. If we make that missed FG, then at the end we win with a FG 29-27 as we were in FG range.

I knew as soon as we missed that FG that it would cost us the game. On such a close game points wise, and our offense being who they are, we can't afford to leave any points on the table.

All the solid playmakers we had last year seem to be very off these first two games.

I'm not sure what is going on with Fasano, but he was solid last year and made some huge plays for us that won us games or put us in a position to win.

I'm very proud of how the coaching staff committed to R and R running game last night, we need to do this more often, as their YPC are huge! I'm not going to give up yet, and I think by next weeks game we will have made some adjustments to win.

Last night's game was exciting and fun to watch, despite the loss. :hi5:

That FG was tried too far away, they should have punted or tried to pick up the 1st. being at the 40-35 yard line is really no mans land. I agree when it was missed I had a bad feeling it would come back to bite us.

The cheap FG we gave up before the haftime was more costly.

Are you serious? The missed 49 yard field goal is what you're picking, among all the things that went wrong last night?

Here's the list, in order, of why we lost:
1.) Inability to cover TE's
2.) Poor tackling
3.) Ginn's inability to make the big play (had 2 chances, and I don't want to hear excuses, he could have come down with either of those TD's)
4.) TERRIBLE TERRIBLE game clock management on the last drive
5.) TERRIBLE TERRIBLE play calling on the last drive - 2 runs? REALLY?
6.) Maybe you put the missed FG here....

OR the fact that we ran the ball on 3rd and 6, we were in the dirt, and we convereted 2 3rd downs on that drive. 45 Minutes of possession means nothing if you can't score TD's

what pissed me off is right before the play, the announcer said something about how he wouldnt attempt a long field goal because if he misses it then manning gets the ball on the 40

because we know carpenter does not have that range. That miss was on sparano, should of gone for it instead of letting carpenter go for it.

It was 49 yards from the infield dirt. Not really a chip shot.

Plus you can't say "if we make that, we have a chance to win at the end" because i don't think the Colts defense would be playing that vanilla prevent defense they played against our WR's on the final drive if they were only up by two points.
