How come we let Bryan Gilmore go and did you guys like him?

He left as an unrestricted free agent after the 05' season. He followed ex-receivers coach Jerry Sullivan to the 49ers.
I liked Gilmore. He was a good special teams gunner and nice for a #4 WR but didn't serve much else of a role with the Dolphins.

Why do you ask? It's kind of an off the wall subject.

I agree with what you said but I dont know why I asked I was rember the HOF game agienst the Bears and I rember seeing him play.

He didn't fit with plans, I suppose. 4th receivers aren't a big deal. Also made way for young guys (Hagan, Marcus Vick experiment)

eh he had a couple good plays and played decently in special teams...figure it was no big loss plus you rather be young at 4 than waste it on an older guy. just business he's not here.

Saddest experiment ever! Thanks Saban! :tantrum:I question whether Saban actually has any football IQ at all.

He was definitely a special teams flyer, but he was a frustrating player for me also. He was one of those guys who would flash some great ability, but never really put it all together.

a whole BUNCH of people here had him starting at qb last year, then starting at wr... in his defense, he kept his nose clean while he was with us.

Exactly. I always cheered for him, but sometimes he would make the big bone head play. I do hope the best for him. Is he still with SF?

I agree, that was his only bright spot for us was not getting in trouble while he was on the roster. He didn't go point a gun at any one at McDonalds.
I think he has a ton of talent, so I was hoping that "experiment" would have worked out adn gave us a Randle El type of guy

I was not one of those people. He did keep his nose clean and did what was asked of him, but I never thought he had it.

We have plenty of "developmental" players. We need some guys who can contribute.
