How come we switch opinions on players by the second?

How come one day we love Pennington then the next we say Henne should have always started. ANd how come we call Henne a bust after the Chargers game then we say we should have always started him. Why did we get so excited about Wake and then hate him for not doing anything? Then now we love him even more now. Why do we keep switching opinions and can't see the big pictures? Why do we ask to start Ricky Williams instead of Ronnie Brown? Why do we ask to trade for Troy Smith after we traded for Thigpen? Why do we say Thigpen is the greatest QB ever?

I'm confused how come this forum always changes opinions so quickly?
 
Easy answer...popular opinion....

I never wavered on my opinion that Henne should be the starter over Penny....I took a lot of heat and bashing for it because it wasnt the popular opinion.

A lot of folks here arn't to kind to those of us who don't "go with the masses"
 
very normal for the football fan, great one week stink the next, we all just want one thing to win, especially with the phins stinking it up five out of the last six years.
 
because we are fans and most fans base there opinions on the product that the team puts on the field. we dont get paid to scout all these players there for we dont know the true potential they have we go by what is reported and "popular opinion" we are just being fans

For once the Dolphins didn't make costly mistakes and actually forced a couple from the other team. Just like that made all the difference in the score, it's made a lot of difference in the perception of certain aspects of our team.
 
well you are fairly new to the thread...you have seen nothing....i mean there was a thread saying henne hasnt shown anything today...people expect madden numbers and will take nothing less....

franchise qb means to them 300+ with 3 td's in his first game ever....just wait im sure you will see larger flip flops than this

I mean I love it when people speak their opinion. I just would like people to stick with what they say. I'm glad you you voiced your opinion and never wavered though. props to you

I've been in the forum. I had a different user name but forgot my log in info and just stopped coming in to post.
 
Fan is short for fanatic, and most fans are emotional so those emotions take control. This is an open forum for people to vent. I have NEVER waivered in my disgust with the Ginn pick...lol

I guess that's true. Just sometimes it gets frustrating and yes I know I shouldn't read it if it frustrates me. Its just weird. You figure we could stay all level headed and not get too emotional and see the big picture. Anyway great win today. Bring on the Jets

Tired of all this enshrinement given to the players today due to the fact that if we lost next week then the next thing they are going to do is blame that player for losing the game.
