I've gotta know something. How do people on this forum say that we haven't beat any "good teams". At the beginning of the season it was well known that we had THE HARDEST schedule of ANY team in the NFL this year.

We beat Carolina, San Diego AT HOME!!!, Denver I mean come on.:shakeno:

How do we go from having the "toughest" schedual to a probable 9 - 7 season and people, supposed fans, say "we haven't beat anyone good. Oh, "Denver was a fluke", "San Diego was looking toward Indy", and "Carolina gave us the game, we really should have lost that one."

Why are these people posting on this sight?

The fins I have watched this year have overcome adverity. Came back after almost beating themselves time and again. Accomplishing this with almost 1/2 the starters returning from 1 year ago, a new coaching staff, and a completely new scheme on offense and defense.

I have seen our offense and our defense completely control games at times, of course with the changes we will see some inconsistancy, but get a grip guys.:yell:

We outperformed almost all of the fans expectations, sportscasters can't say enough about the turnaround of this franchise, and even the players themselves have said the are impressed with the team in it's ability to overcome adversity and find a way to win.:D

Yet this still is not good enough for some of the fickle fans that visit this forum.:shakeno: No we didn't make the playoffs or win the AFC East this season. Some of us, including myself:) , as we do every year think we will win it all, and again have seen it not happen. I could not be happier though with what the fins have done this year and wish you haters would back off and quit trying to start contraversy and arguements by downplaying the many accompishments of what is turning in to and used to be one of the premeir franchises in NFL history.;)

I know how you feel. Some people are never satisfied and just leave at that.

we started the season with the 2nd hardest. Chargers had the hardest. Now that its over with the crappiness of the bills and jets our schedule is alot easier than it was at the beginning of the year.

The reason why people say we have not beaten anyone is because during our win streak our foes combined record is 25-50. and only one of those teams has a record above .500. BUT a NE win would definatly help to quiet some of those critics.

Before the season i predicted 7-9. I am more than happy with 8-8 or 9-7. Playoffs here we come in 2006!

Nothin' wrong with winning the games you're supposed to win.

exactly, you can only beat who you play... and denver, carolina, san diego are three top tier teams in the league that we beat...

only tough teams NE beat? pitt, atl, tampa
only tough teams cincy beat? chicago (early in the season), pittsburgh and i guess minnesota

I can hear them all ready. "Oh, well NE didn't need the game", "had the game meant something to NE they would have probably won", "They rested their stars for the playoffs" Whatever.

My point goes deeper than just the specific comments. I love the Dolphins, always have since I started watching football. The fans of this team worse than almost any other are so pecamistic it's rediculous. 1/2 the time I feel like I'm conversing more with "the enemy" than the ally regarding the fins and it's frustrating and discouraging to see repeated negativity constantly, even though when what I see is awsome in comparison to Wanny and Johnson ball.

yeah...ive given up on it, i do admit i was frustrated when we were 3-7 during the season but i didnt say much, i just kept hope...i also figured that this is a rebuilding year and we had looked better than last year so i wasnt complaining to much

The better teams beat everyone no matter who they are. Buffalo over Cincy? Who would'a thought?

That's not true, or the SB winner would have to be undefeated every year.

This is why games are played. Each team has 53 professional athletes on them and can beat any other team on any given sunday.

San Diego went on the road and beat Indy right after loosing to us. We completely destroyed the Bronco's ( who are considered by some to be the 2nd or 3rd best team in the NFL ) San Diego is the best team to not make the playoffs.

My point simply is, anyone can have a bad game. So many factors weigh into a win or a lose each weak, it's impossible to say who we should or shouldn't beat. Yes my logic says we "Should have beat the Browns", but it also says "we probably shouldn't have beat the Chargers", and "how the hell did we make the Bronco's look like a pee wee football team"

But I'm a fan of the team and have an understanding that we could beat any team in the NFL and any team in the NFL could beat us given the right set of circumstances.

The more I look at what I said, the more I realize I meant something totally different. The better teams are supposed to beat lesser teams, but of course stuff happens. Yeah, I meant that

Its correct that going into the season Miami was said to have one of the hardest schedules (but that was based on the prior years records and upcoming opponents).

Ironically it has turned out that we have had one of the easiest this year, based on # of wins opponents have. Amazingly Seattle, and Chicago faced the easiest competition.

Now, something can be said that bad teams seem to contribute to opponents victory totals being higher, and good teams limit opposing schedule victories against them, but its strength of schedule none the less.

Bottomline, you line up and try to beat the team across from you. Thats all that matters. I give credit where credit is due. Miami has played very well of late and each and every member of this organization should feel proud!

Some people will always make excuses. I am extremely happy with the progress this team has shown. During the preseason I predicted this team would be 9-7 (I'm always a bit of an optimist). Halfway through the year who would have thought it was possible. Now with a win over NE it can be a reality. How I would love to end the year on a 6 game winning streak! Anybody happen to notice we have the second best winning streak in the league right now?!! Only the Seahawks streak is longer.

I have much hope for next year. A few more young athletes on Defense. 1 more year for Hudson to work his O-Line magic. Perhaps (I hope, I hope) a starting calibre QB or at least a young stud to groom. I am already pumped for 2006.

Oh hell yeah. There's always someone who'll pee on everything "their team" does. Always.

NE wants this game because they want the number 3 seed. they don't want to have to face Indy right out of the starting blocks...
