I was listening to WEEI Boston on my way home yesterday and they were interviewing Bob Kravitz, who was the first reporter to break deflate-gate, and Michael Holley asked him what was the worst tweet he had received from somebody in New England this week. His reply was, "I want to watch you die". Are you kidding me? I'm just wondering if we have posters here, if they would admit it, that take football and being a Miami Dolphins fan to that kind of an unhealthy level. It's like Aaron Rodgers getting death threats for taking over for Brett Favre or Loedis McKelvin getting them for the fumble week 1 of 2009 vs the Patriots. I love the Dolphins but would never tweet at a player who had a bad game or wish harm on anyone involved in the Miami Dolphins organization, opponents or beat writers (even Omar lol). For instance I know Dallas Thomas sucks but I don't want him to die, I just want a better lineman. Are there fans on here who are that nuts? I'm just curious.

To me it's worse than Sargeant Slaughter getting death threats for some of his work in the WWE back in the day. While everybody should be smart enough or realize it's just a show you could see where the content would upset some people.

The Chowda heads must be nervous...

Honestly, if my team was caught cheating I would just think we are stupid for 1. Cheating and 2. Getting caught.

Every fan base has some of those people...I'm sure there are Dolphin fans who would be the same way.

I'm crazy for crying, and I'm crazy for lying. And I'm crazy for loving you, Miami Dolphins.

I don't know why people tweet players death threats. I don't tweet that often, but the only reason I will tweet a player is if they have a good game or if they just signed with the Dolphins. Even if a player leaves the team, I'll just thank them for their service and wish them luck. Players know when they have a bad game and don't need us making it worse.

I'm crazy enough to actually consider buying Dolphins gear while in Miami this week, despite having vowed to spend no money on the team this season. I just keep coming back to this abusive relationship. :bobdole:

I feel like I am the poster child for being crazy over my NFL team... I freaking LOVE the Dolphins... have ever since I was 11 years old and we were one of the GREAT teams of the league.. But today I see sooooooooo much stupidity with the owner and management that I'd love to HATE them... but I cant because they have been a part of my life and its like trying to turn your back on your kids...

With Philbin and Coyle being retained, with the addition of Tannebaum... I see a real problem with the direction of the team, both in the short and long term and its gotten to the point where I'm embarassed to say I'm a Dolphin Fan... and yet I still love them...

Now if thats not crazy, I dont know what is..

HAHA, My kids Karate instructor made fun of me yesterday for always wearing the same hat (a navy Blue Dolphins hat). I told him I bought 2 and use the other for cutting the grass. So I'm a little nuts myself. But would never bug a player.

Somebody saying and actually meaning it are most times 2 different things. I think it's sad that to some people football is the most important thing in their life....very sad.
