Watching Chambers drop those passes,I was wondering
imagine him dropping those and coming back to the
huddle with Marino waiting to scold him.

Chambers is what he is and maybe Dan wouldn't trust him in that situation. I don't know. I just wonder how many different ways we are going to bring this up.

I`m sure CC would have gotten an earful, but what does it matter what Marino might have said...you should be concerned if Saban or Frerotte said anything.

Why did we do those two fade routs into the sun? Didnt Saban get mad about not running the ball last weak on the goal line?

If Chambers half hearted play is allowed to continue with no
accountability then their is no reason for him to improve.
Dan would blast M.Clayton for droppng a pass and Chambers is
not even a real #1 reciever. My question is whose the leader
on offense?

yeah im now kinda feeling a bit sorry for Chambers. He got 2 TDs yesterday and hes getting shot down in flames. He needs to stop dropping passes but i think we are hoping too much from him and hes not delivering as we have hoped, so hes getting killed for it. Im not sure exactly what we can do at this juncture with the Chambers situation.
Do we keep him as our No2 and draft a WR or go thru FA for a No1 quality WR?
Maybe when the flak calms down with Chambers ppl will back off, but at the moment he isnt helping his cause.

Dan would not have this problem because Dan would have been hitting Chambers in the numbers for the past 5 years.

I'm not saying he is helping his cause. I used to defend the guy, but I won't anymore until he can prove he can be consistent. Like I said is there any reason to speculate about this. There really is nothing we can do about this "situation" right now and HE IS what HE IS, a decent player with amazing talent who isn't and hasn't played up to the physical talent he has.

Exactly. All Chris Chambers is doing is his best. If his best isnt good enough to warrant the Dolphins making him our No1 WR then we all know what should be done. I say keep him and upgrade.

Its got to be Gus IMO. Hes got the experience and hes got the ball every play.

Dan would have NOT thrown to him again. Dan would not go to WRs he didn't trust. I don't think Gus has the pull to go away from a play called for Chambers.

I just don't see "leadership" in Gus,no emotion, thats just me.

Dan Marino would have turned Chris Chambers into Jerry Rice. Yeah, he would have those kind of #'s. Apparently, noone on this team (including coaches) can light a fire under CC's a$s and make him into the receiver everyone knows he has the potential to be. I guarantee Dan Marino would have. He would have demanded it. Chambers lacks focus. Marino expected it.
