how did are lb's rank this year?you wont be happy.

We really need to take care of this! I'm down for us drafting all defense this year!
 
Our whole LB core is a joke. If we had a decent LB core, we would have won 10 or more games.
 
Channing The Ghost Crowder had 2 games with 1 tackle, 1 game with 2 tackles, and 3 games with 3 tackles. That is 6 games out of the 13 he played.

Aydeole had 1 game with 1 tackle, 2 games with 2 tackles, and 4 games with 3 tackles. Combined they had 1 sack, 2 interceptions and 0 forced fumbles.

Yeah we need ILB and we need them bad!
 
funny the guy we cut without even sniffing a trade option outperformed them all according to this report.

if you look back, you will find that I was wholeheartedly against resigning crowder. he did little if not nothing to warrant a pay increase.

I still scratch my head trying to figure out why we gave one to him.

I don't think they will take McClain. McDaniel is going to rebuild the OL and change the scheme. He prefers the big massive OL like Parcells and Belichick. The Broncos are operating with light and fast OL. Look for the pick to be Bryant to replace Marshall or the best OL available.

If there is no cap, hopefully he is one of the cuts they make.
 
I agree with Tim Hardaway that Chalmers is an offensive liability. And the fact that our linebackers were not all dead last is the only thing that really shocks me.

I sure hope so because re-signing Crowder really makes me wonder! I don't even want to know how close we are paying him to Bart Scott!

Not to mention the Browns gave up Braylon Edwards for a couple scrubs a 3rd and a 5th. You would think if the like Roth and immediately made him a starter they would have worked the deal with us. I know people rip Edwards for some drops, hell I do! But the guy is a beast he can takeover a game, and the Jets rushing attack go a lot better when he got there. For 2 reasons, his blocking and the fact he draws double teams and stretches the field! Something we don't have!
 
Yeah, ILB needs to be restructured. No question. It seems like Crowder will get the nod over Ayodele. But that's up to the Dolphins. Someone has to go though so Miami can add a good tackler in there. I would lik eto see Miami get the best ILB in the draft this year. Stick him where Ayodele was from day one. I just hope that motivates Crowder to play harder and talk less.
