Everyone is talking about Beck and Henne, but how did the #1 overall pick in the draft look? I'm surprised Long isn't getting talked about much....?

If you have a satellite dish or you have a sports bar close by, NFL Network is going to show the Dolphins game at 4pm Eastern. I want to see how Jake looked myself. I want to see him dominating some dudes out there. It's not every year that you get the #1 overall pick. We got him. The best Olineman in college football last year.

Jake looked good, he wasn't challenged much but he looked good. When you really noticed him actually, was when he left, because then our protection fell apart.

he looks pretty good to me, I think our OL is gonna be damn good

I saw 2 really bad plays by Jake on the nfl.com video, but thankfully they look to be exceptions and not the norms

he looked pretty strong...not much got past him

I thought he looked phenominal. Even when a speed rusher got passed him, he was still able to push him out of the pocket or at least got in the way enough to allow the QB to throw it away.

I also gotta say I loved what I saw out of Henne for his first ever NFL action, too. And Beck looked better than some are saying. I think McCown gets cut.

I unfortunatly can't see the game...AFN must not be much into the fins. Anyway it sounds like he took the first test well. Jacksonville should give us a better indication.

He had a holding penalty and a false start... The penalties from him i think though.

He only had a false start penalty.. and for his very first game .. and against 1st team defense of the #2 ranked defense, and #1 against the pass.. I think Long did very, very, well.

Jake is a baller. He only looked lost once. But I love the way he punches. He really intimidated the DE or OLB that lined up against him....Im predicting 1st year probowler......4real!!!

Best part is he is only going to get better with practice... He said he wasnt happy with the way he played but Hell who remembers thouse days of Brian Griese running around for his life with our old OL. hahaha Thouse were the days

he had one false start but it lookied like he and the tightend both moved. I thought he looked very strong.

I don't think we'll see any problems at the tackle spots.
