How did the largest active thread disappear overnight?

Maybe im wrong but the length of the thread should matter anymore than saying I will delete ever so many posts .

we can move them... but deleting a thread(s) like that would really lower a lot of post counts around here, and I can tell you people really take that kinda thing very seriously. no, we opt to kill a thread like that by moving it to a section where no one can touch it. except staff. staff is cool like that we can touch everything.

So it was burried somewhere? so the discussions that several of us were having just go away if some knuckle heads ruin it? We're they dealt with directly?
